Arsenal should hope that they're able to re-sign 26-year-old defender, Laurent Koscielny. Koscielny is a strong defender with obvious skill and it would be in Arsenal's best interest to make sure they can agree to a contract in order to keep the defender with a strong foot and great speed. Koscielny has 18 goals, 3 assists and 250 appearances in his career.

There have been rumors about Robin Van Arsie leaving Arsenal, and if he does, the team must make sure they keep supreme, talented defenders like Koscielny who are beneficial to an organization.

Koscielny has four caps for the French national team and his last one occurred during Euro 2012 when he played against Spain during the quarter-finals. He showed superior strength as a defender this year in Euro and will no doubt be an impact player on whichever team he ends up on.

Rumors have been circling that Koscielny will receive a pay-rise, with a contract extending into 2017. However, until the deal is set in stone, Arsenal must do whatever they have to do in order to keep this powerful, impressive and game-changing defender.
