Manny Pacquiao Buys a New $9.5 Million Mansion in Makati City

After purchasing the newest Ferrari and acquiring a brand new helicopter, Manny Pacquiao showed that he is very serious about his toys. Obviously money is not an issue, as these things—amongst many others that he owns—are high-end, as well as extremely high-priced possessions.

Now Pacquiao has gotten to a point when a new house is a must, as there is not much else that requires updating in his stable. His brand new mansion in Makati City’s Forbes Park—which is currently being renovated—has a price tag of 388,000,000 Philippine pesos, which equals out to a little over $9 million USD, according to ABS-CBN News.

With an immense size and a private tennis court, Pacquiao will probably end up adding a basketball court somewhere on the grounds of his new home. Once again, these purchases might make the congressman look bad in the eyes of the locals, but I think he shouldn’t have to answer for how he chooses to spend the money that he's earned via his own blood and sweat.

There will always be people that blame sports or movie stars for spending too much without giving enough back to the community, and the word enough will also never have a final number.
