TNA Impact Wrestling: Complete Preview, Rumors, News and More for July 12
With Austin Aries winning the World Heavyweight title from Bobby Roode at TNA’s Destination X pay-per-view this past Sunday, the wrestling world is abuzz with the talk of the future of the company.
Now that A-Double is champ, things are about to get even more exciting in the Impact Zone.
There is a real sense of optimism about the company moving forward, and it’s great to see that TNA was not afraid to change their philosophy. With the success or Aries, the hope is that there will be a seismic shift in the way the company handles its storylines and talent.
Hopefully that starts Thursday.
Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, FL.
When: Thursday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET, new "Rewind" broadcast starts at 7 p.m. ET

Austin Aries
With Austin Aries stealing the show for the past month on Impact and closing the deal at Destination X, there is a new age beginning in TNA wrestling. With that said, Roode will undoubtedly have something to say.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Aries have a long title reign?
Most fans thought that Bound for Glory would be the title match between Roode and James Storm, but the realization that Aries could still be champion is starting to set in. There is a chance this could be an extensive reign.
Hype Meter: Five out of five CM Punks
TNA has decided to try and capture lightning in a bottle with Aries and will try to turn him into their company’s version of CM Punk. With charisma for days and an in-ring style that everyone can appreciate, there is no reason why Aries can’t be the face of Impact Wrestling.
Bleacher Buzz: Austin Aries Winning World Title Will Revitalize TNA
Destination X Fallout
With Aries going over in the main event, Samoa Joe beating Kurt Angle via submission, Zema Ion winning the X Division title and AJ Styles beating Christopher Daniels, this was one of the best shows of the year from any wrestling company.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will TNA capitalize on the momentum?
TNA Wrestling put on one of the best shows a fan could have asked for, with a great undercard and a last hour that put it over the top. For this PPV to be 100 percent effective, the company must capitalize on it and have an amazing Impact this Thursday.
Hype Meter: Four out of five Vince Russo-less creative meetings
There has been a clear change in the way TNA runs their ship over the last year—and more specifically the time since the company fired Vince Russo and got Eric Bischoff off TV—and they are building a product that casual wrestling fans can enjoy. Let’s hope they keep it up.
Bleacher Buzz: TNA Destination X Results, Highlights & More
Bully Ray vs. Joseph Park
The second-most interesting storyline in the company right now—behind Aries and Roode—is the battle between Bully Ray and Joseph Park. With Abyss banned from ringside for the rematch between Park and Bully Ray, this will be a huge turning point in this feud.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Joseph Park turn into Abyss?
This is just one of the simplest storyline you could ever want in wrestling, and TNA is performing it flawlessly. The hope now is that they do not take a swerve that doesn’t make sense.
Hype Meter: Three out of five WWE swerves
WWE is notorious for terrible swerves that are done almost entirely to stick it to the smarks. If TNA can avoid that feeling with the Parks/Ray storyline, this has the potential to culminate in an amazing match against Abyss for Bully Ray.
