WWE Money in the Bank 2012 Results: John Cena Wins MITB to Earn WWE Title Shot
When John Cena told the WWE Universe this past week on RAW that he would win the 2012 Money in the Bank match, he was telling the truth.
The 10-time WWE champion won the RAW MitB ladder match and now can take his shot at winning the WWE title anytime he wants.
While many fans that hate Cena will despise this move, this was the smartest way to move the veteran back into the title picture without burying the younger talent trying to get over.

What It Means
This was the perfect scenario for WWE to get Cena back into the top-championship feuds without having to make young talent look bad.
Instead of going over Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes, Cena went over established talent like Chris Jericho, Big Show and Kane. That is enough to allow the guys trying to make their mark the room and time to do so.
While I didn’t like the former WWE champions stipulation at first, it is clear that it was just a way to make Cena look stronger without having to make younger talent lose.
What’s Next?
With Cena going over veteran guys, his win is about building a future and not stepping on it before it gets any real momentum.
Cena knows that the company must build great talent to alleviate the pressure on him, so the RAW MitB went perfectly.
The WWE wants Cena around the main event for the No. 2 PPV on the schedule in SummerSlam, and it doesn’t hurt that the star will have the briefcase for the 1,000th edition of RAW, either.
