Adrian Peterson Arrest Video: Watch Altercation That Led to Vikings RB's Arrest
Adrian Peterson was arrested in a Houston-area nightclub on July 6, and not surprisingly, there were some curious patrons with the ability to film the action.
The first video to make its way to the public is the one shown here. There is not a lot we are going to learn from this video other than the fact that Peterson—unless your eyes are way better than mine, we'll have to take TMZ's word that it is him—was placed into custody in an establishment resembling a bar during closing time.
It also looks like there are three cops helping cuff Peterson, which is certainly understandable since it often takes three NFL players to tackle him.

However, what isn't clear is why he was being arrested in the first place, and if there were any attempts made by him to resist arrest. I would speculate that if Peterson was really serious about resisting arrest, the three men around him would not be enough to keep him as calm as he appears in the video.
Carol Christian of Chron.com released details of the arrest provided by the Houston Police Department that claim Peterson shoved an officer, causing him to stumble, after being told he needed to leave, and he was consequently arrested.
ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio offered a quote from a source that, after exchanging words with an officer, Peterson was walking out when a cop jumped on his back.
Again, this video is not going to answer any of validity of either of those claims, if there was a reason to make the arrest in the first place or if Peterson resisted those arrest attempts.
However, Florio mentioned he heard there was surveillance video of the incident, and there is a good chance someone else got some of it on camera.
