WWE News: THQ Running into Licensing Issues for WWE 13
For those of you who are itching to get your hands on the coveted WWE 13, you may have to wait a bit longer for its release, or face disappointment.
According to Intertainment.co,uk, THQ has their work cut out for them.
The main issue is obtaining licensing for several of the Attitude Era entrance songs. Some of them were easy to land, while others were being called "too obscure" to locate.

The article states:
"some of the issues that’s been affecting the development of WWE 13, and the latest is the concerns for the entrance songs for the Attitude Era. THQ has been trying a number of different avenues to obtain the entrance music that is a very important part of this sport
When these songs were being used all those years ago the rights to them were owned by someone different from today, the publisher is now facing the tough task of finding who owns those rights. There is a fear that those fighters from the older Attitude Era might have to have a different entrance theme, which might not go down well with the hardcore fans of the sport.
"
The good thing here is that THQ seems genuinely interested in getting this video game right prior to launch. Ultimately, they are trying to avoid the backlash they received from WWE 12 due to several bugs and errors throughout the game.
Let's face it, we fans can be fickle, and seeing the likes of Too Cool coming out to some random Killer Tracks song would devastate, if not infuriate, hardcore wrestling fans. I am not saying Too Cool is the standard here, but as mentioned before, the more main-stream songs have been easier to obtain.
So, as a gamer and wrestling fan, would you be annoyed if any Attitude Era star came out to a song that they never used?
