Trent Green a St. Louis Ram Again
I can't believe the St Louis Rams have just given Trent Green a three-year contract, valued at $8.9 million.
I would have given him a one-year $1 million if that, the guy has had his head rattled too many times, he is in his 15th season, and I think his best years are behind him.
The only reason I think this may be a good move, is it might light a fire under Marc Bulger, who seems to have run a little short as of late. The play of Bulger may be due to the loss of former offensive coordinator Mike Martz, and his playbook being gone, plus injuries.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Why would you go and pick up an injury prone Green to insure against Bulger's plights?
I was watching the game in which Green was injured with a severe concussion and the hit was vicious and late, and I figured right then and there he would never be the same player ever.
I think a much better pickup could have been Mark Brunell, who although is the same age as Green, I feel has been more consistent as a backup quarterback.
Possibly another good pickup might have been David Carr, but he has already signed with the Giants so that is out of the picture.
I hope this contract is not a sentimental one, being that Trent Green played for the Rams from 1999-2000. If that is the case, then why not go after Kurt Warner who might be done in Arizona? After all, Warner had great success in St. Louis winning a Supe Bowl in replacement of Trent Green, who went down with a leg injury courtesy of Rodney Harrison.
I have a feeling if this marriage does not work between the Rams and Green, he will retire after only one year.
The Rams should be concentrating on upgrading the o-line and wide receivers or both quarterbacks and fans will be feeling like they've been the ones rammed.
