While some NHL buildings have more history than others, every arena has had its share of fantastic moments that fans won't forget.

Whether it's a number retirement ceremony, a Stanley Cup clinching game, or a banner raising celebration, every arena has enjoyed some special moments.

Let's look at the most memorable moment from each current NHL arena.

Anaheim Ducks

A win in Game 5 of the 2007 Stanley Cup Final gave the Anaheim Ducks their first championship in franchise history.

Teemu Selanne's emotional post-game interview made the night extra special.

Boston Bruins

Most of the Boston Bruins' best moments came at the old Boston Garden, but last October the team raised their first Stanley Cup banner to the TD Garden rafters. The team's previous five titles were won while the team played at the old Garden.

After watching the Boston Celtics have so much success at TD Garden, it was nice to see the Bruins have their turn in the spotlight on Causeway Street.

Buffalo Sabres

Even though this is not one of the better moments in Buffalo Sabres history, Brett Hull's controversial goal to win the 1999 Stanley Cup is the most memorable moment from the First Niagara Center since its opening in 1996.

Los Angeles Kings

Winning their first Stanley Cup in franchise history on home ice this past season is without question the best moment for the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center.

Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild beat the Colorado Avalanche in Game 6 of their first round series in 2003 to force a Game 7 with a chance to win their first playoff series in franchise history. They would go on to defeat the Avalanche in Game 7.

Montreal Canadiens

On December 4, 2009 the Montreal Canadiens celebrated their 100th anniversary in a magnificent ceremony to honor the NHL's most successful franchise.

The Canadiens have not won a Stanley Cup since the Bell Centre opened in 1996.

Nashville Predators

The Nashville Predators won their first playoff series in franchise history during the 2010-11 season with a first-round series triumph over the Anaheim Ducks.

New Jersey Devils

Adam Henrique sent the Devils to the Stanley Cup Final with an overtime goal in Game 6 of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Rangers.

New York Rangers

New York Islanders

The New York Islanders made Wayne Gretzky wait a little longer in his quest to become a champion when they defeated his Edmonton Oilers in the 1983 Stanley Cup Final. It was the fourth consecutive title for the Islanders.

Ottawa Senators

The Senators won their first ever Stanley Cup Final game in franchise history in 2007 against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 3. It was their only victory of the series.

Philadelphia Flyers

The Flyers won their first ever Stanley Cup Final game at the Wells Fargo center in 2010 against the Chicago Blackhawks with a 4-3 overtime victory in Game 3.

Phoenix Coyotes

The Phoenix Coyotes, amid all their ownership issues, were able to make the franchise's first appearance in the Western Conference Finals this past season with a Game 5 victory over the Nashville Predators in the second round.

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Consol Energy Center has only been around for two NHL seasons, but Evgeni Malkin already has a collection of fantastic moments, like his goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning from this past season.

San Jose Sharks

Joe Pavelski's overtime goal in Game 1 of the Sharks' first round series against the Los Angeles Kings in the 2011 NHL playoffs was an amazing moment.

St. Louis Blues

The St. Louis Blues advanced to the 2001 Western Conference Finals with a 4-1 victory over the Dallas Stars in Game 5. The Blues haven't been back to the West Finals since that year.

Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning won their first championship in Game 7 of the 2004 Stanley Cup Final against the Calgary Flames. The Lightning had to win Game 6 on the road to force the deciding Game 7.

Toront Maple Leafs

Knocking the rival Ottawa Senators out of the 2004 playoffs in Game 7 is the best Toronto Maple Leafs moment of the Air Canada Centre era. The franchise hasn't been to the playoffs since that season.

Vancouver Canucks

Alex Burrows was not going to let the Chicago Blackhawks defeat his Vancouver Canucks in the playoffs again. He scored the overtime goal in Game 7 of their first-round series that sent the Canucks to the second round in 2011.

Washington Capitals

Alexander Ovechkin's two third-period goals helped the Capitals win Game 2 of their second-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009. Both Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby scored a hat trick in this game.

Winnipeg Jets

The long-awaited return of the Winnipeg Jets was arguably the best moment of the 2011-12 NHL season. It's easy to see how much this team means to the people of Winnipeg.
