Andre Villas-Boas is on the verge of being named Tottenham Hotspur's new manager, according to widespread media reports.

The Independent reports that an announcement could come Tuesday. Villas-Boas, 34, was sacked by Chelsea in March, eight months into his first season on the job.

Tottenham and previous manager Harry Redknapp parted company last month.

Bayern Want Khedira?

Bayern Munich want Germany and Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to reports out of Spain (cited by ESPNSoccernet).

Khedira, 25, joined Real from Stuttgart in 2010. According to the reports, Real would consider a deal if Bayern's Bastian Schweinsteiger moves the opposite way.

Juventus to Bid on Suarez?

The Italian giants will bid for Liverpool's Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mail suggests Juventus might consider a cash-plus-swap deal for Suarez, but adds that Liverpool don't want to sell.

United After Moutinho?

Manchester United are chasing Portugal and Porto midfielder João Moutinho, according to The Sun.

The Red Devils are reportedly considering a £25 million offer.

Moutinho, 25, has also been linked with big-spending Paris Saint-Germain (via Goal.com).
