Wimbledon 2012 Bracket: Most Dangerous Players Left in Each Bracket
It's the round of 16, and there are only a few great players still around.
For both men and women, the round of 16 is gut check time. By getting to this point, everyone has a little bit of momentum going. No one is an easy out.
With that said, there are the clear-cut top players. This slideshow outlines the players most likely to reach the quarterfinals.
Victoria Azarenka
1 of 8Victoria Azarenka has been destroying her competition.
While nothing is certain on the women's side, she certainly looks as good as anyone. She's a strong player, and she's at the top of her game. If she continues to play like this, she will be in the final.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
2 of 8Jo Wilfried Tsonga is on quite the roll.
He's reached the quarterfinals in three out of the last four Grand Slams. He reached his first semifinals last year at Wimbledon, and he's prime to do it again.
With Rafael Nadal out of the way, Tsonga looks good to make the semis.
Petra Kvitova
3 of 8Petra Kvitova has looked as good as anyone so far at Wimbledon.
The defending champion has looked every bit the part of a winner. She knows what it takes to win at the All England Club, and she's prime to do it again.
She still has a long road ahead, but she's in top form and ready to win her second straight Wimbledon.
Andy Murray
4 of 8I do not believe in Andy Murray.
To me, he's overrated and will never win a major. However, Rafael Nadal is out, and Murray can sniff the final. He has a few tough opponents in his way, but the toughest is no longer there.
Murray is a good player, and if he takes care of business, he should cruise to the semis and potentially the final. Then again, there's the very good chance that he doesn't take care of business. Be ready for anything.
Sabine Lisicki
5 of 8After defeating Maria Sharapova, Sabine Lisicki could make some serious noise at Wimbledon.
She made it to the semifinals at the All England Club last year, but she's relatively unknown other than that. She dominated Sharapova and suddenly looks good to make a run to the final.
She still has to go through Angelique Kerber and (most likely) Agnieszka Radwanska to get there. However, if Lisicki plays like she did against Sharapova, she suddenly becomes one of the favorites at Wimbledon.
Roger Federer
6 of 8Roger Federer is pure class.
He's a shadow of his former self, but he still plays his heart out, trying to win another Wimbledon crown. He has an uphill battle, but never bet against him at the All England Club.
Fed-Ex came back from two sets down in the third round, and he's ready for anything. Don't count him out.
Agnieszka Radwanska
7 of 8Agnieszka Radwanksa is lining up a semifinal matchup with Maria Sharapova.
The two of them have been playing well, and they are on the same side of the bracket. If they both keep dominating, one will need to beat the other to reach the final.
Don't count out Radwanska. She hasn't won a Grand Slam yet, but she's the No. 3 player in the world for a reason. She has a good chance to win Wimbledon; she just needs to continue playing well against good competition.
Novak Djokovic
8 of 8Novak Djokovic is the best player in the world, and he's ready to prove it again at Wimbledon.
He's been playing really well at the All England Club, and don't be surprised if he continues this dominance. No one is quite on his level right now, and he knows it.
If Djoker loses, he will have beaten himself. If he can play a smart game, no one will take him down.
