David Beckham Fight Video: Watch Galaxy Star Scuffle with Earthquakes and Mascot
David Beckham might look like he plays the pretty-boy part, but after tonight, he is sporting the stench of rugged tough guy. That's because the English-born soccer star got all fired-up at the conclusion of an MLS showdown between the Los Angeles Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes.
Beckham flexed his big-boy muscles on Khari Stephenson and a mascot when both teams nearly skirmished at the end of their match that resulted in a 4-3 win for the Earthquakes.
It isn't clear for sure, but it appears that Beckham actually challenges Stephenson to take this little confrontation outside, totally oblivious to the fact that the stadium he's playing in resides outdoors.

I guess Beckham meant outside the stadium without a referee watching and no color-coordinated card to fall victim to. No rules, just the way Beckham likes it.
The game itself wasn't too bad for Beckham, however. He did manage to net a goal on a free kick at the 31-minute mark of the match.
He did notch a yellow card in the 90th minute and that might have led to some of the post-game festivities. Beckham didn't take kindly to an opposing player, Rafael Baca, kicking the ball downfield during extra time, thus his attempt to retaliate by kicking the ball back at the opposing player.
Instead, Beckham hit a downed player and a referee, which earned him the yellow card.
While I don't doubt that the in-game shenanigans caused Beckham to lose his cool, it isn't surprising to see him react that way since he's had a rough year in the sport altogether.
Beckham was recently snubbed for the Great Britain Olympics soccer squad, according to ESPN staff, and might be taking his frustrations out on his opponents and their mascots.
No matter what, we all learned a valuable lesson: Don't mess with Beckham, especially now that he has to match his personal toughness with that swashbuckling beard he's got going on.
