Both the Hoyas (4-7, 13-9) and Orange (6-6, 18-7) are in a tailspin.
Georgetown, after facing the toughest opponents in the country, has succumbed to their own schedule. Before the season started, critics and fans alike were worried about how young this team is. Their inexperience has shown through recentlyโespecially as they let teams back in at the end of games.
After starting the season 16-1, the Orange have dropped six of eightโmost recently back-to-back losses to Villanova and UConn.
When these two teams faced off earlier this season, the Hoyas walked away victorious. But since then, both teams have had their share of losses on the season.
