Highlights of Vegas

I’m waiting at McCarran after my first trip to Las Vegas and trying to kill some time. Some friends and I headed to the Nevada desert for a bachelor party and loved every minute of it. Let’s go to the video tape … err … list for highlights.

Dueling Pianos Bar - I know it sounds lame, but they put on a good show and it’s a good way to get your night going.
Coyote Ugly (again) - Somehow we always ended up there.
Poker at 5:00am - It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Breakfast at 7:30 after said Poker - Yeah, that’s 2 hours of sleep.
Skydiving - Paid to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and loved it. I figured I’d rather do it out of desire than necessity. Now I’m prepared should that situation present itself. Video on the way.
Troy’s Bachelor Party - You guys have seen those checklist t-shirts right? Yeah, ’nuff said.
Big Margarita’s at the Cantina - Not sure why they were orange.
UNC v. Duke at ESPN Zone - Great game, even better time.
Eating dinner in our hotel hallway - How is the room key always in the other pants?
Margaritaville - Some of the guys cabbed it two blocks to get there. Really? I honestly think the walk is faster.
The Bank at 1:30am - Thought I was getting too old to stay out that late 3 nights in a row. Maybe this desert is the fountain of youth.
Semi-naked Scott - So imagine getting back to your hotel at 3:00am and finding your friend drunkenly wandering in the hallway … only in gym shorts. His explanation? Took a wrong turn when coming out of his bathroom.
Morning Recaps - Oh those morning-after conversations. Good stuff. Ta-Daaa!
Craps Tables - We ran that table for 4 hours and brought the house down. House always wins my foot! (I did still end up down $40 for the weekend).
