Terry Funk

Terrance was born on June 30, 1944. Where do you begin with Terry Funk? There so much that he's accomplished through his career that I'll just go through the basics.

He made his debut in 1965. In 1968, he joined the NWA with his brother. In 1975, he defeated Jack Brisco for the NWA World Championship. He and his brother are the only brothers to hold the NWA World Championship.

He and his brother defeated Tito Santana and Junkyard Dog at WrestleMania II. In 1989, he returned to the NWA to feud with Ric Flair over the NWA World Championship, which lead to their classic "I Quit" match. After Flair lock on the Figure Four Terry yelled "Yes! I Quit!".

ECW. If it was not for Terry offering to help get ECW off the ground, we probably wouldn't be mentioning the letters E-C-W. After winning the ECW title at ECw's first Pay-Per-View Barely Legal, he feuded with Sabu.

Both men competed in a barbwire match that is still talked about today, Sabu would defeat Funk, but after the match both men had to be cut out of the barb wire.

Terry signed on to the WWE in 1998 and competed as Chainsaw Charlie. He and Foley were having a match, but then the New Age Outlaws came out put them in a dumpster and pushed them off the stage.

At WrestleMania XIV, they would defeat the New Age Outlaws for the tag belts. The next night they would lose the belts back to the New Age Outlaws in a steel cage match.

Terry would wrestle in WCW in 2000, winning the U.S. title on two occasions and the Hardcore title on three (a record in WCW).

From 2002-2005, Terry worked the Independent Circuit. At Hardcore Homecoming, Funk lost a triple-threat barbed wire match to Sabu.

In 2006, Funk wrestled at ECW One Night Stand, Funk, Dreamer and Bealuh lost to Foley, Edge and Lita. The Funks will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

Known for consistently retiring then coming back to wrestle, he truly is "One Bad Mother Funker."
