Manchester United Rumors: James Rodriguez Would Be Solid Replacement for Nani
Manchester United will not be caught stagnant waiting on any player, and Nani may just learn that first hand.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Man U is getting closer to acquiring James Rodriguez of FC Porto. The 20-year-old has apparently been the apple of Man U's eye for over a year.
With Nani and the club embroiled in stalled contract negotiations per Tom Marshall-Bailey of Goal.com, Man U may be making the move that secures Nani's replacement.

Though Rodriguez isn't as proven, or as well-known as Nani, he is very talented.
Check him out in action here:
He scored 13 goals in Portuguese Liga during the 2011-2012 season in only 20 appearances. At such a young age, it is clear—his best football is still ahead of him.
He is a talented scorer, but he already has a more disciplined approach to his game. Nani can be as dazzling as he can be perplexing for Man U fans. As equally capable of the spectacular play, as he is careless with the ball.
In the long run, this move will be better for Man U.
Don't get me wrong, Nani is a quality player. If it weren't for the dispute, bringing him back would be the right way to go.
But, in light of the realities surrounding this situation, Rodriguez is a great way for Man U to land on their feet.
Nani hasn't officially been sold, and Rodriguez hasn't officially been signed, but it feels like both transactions may be inevitable at this point.
