Wimbledon Odds 2012: David Ferrer and Underdogs Worth Betting On
Betting on Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic all losing at Wimbledon in 2012 is, well, not smart. But if you're going to make a good profit, you're going to have to.
Rightfully so, The Big Three are all large favorites to win the third major of the year, as the best odds you'll likely get is Roger Federer at 9-to-2 or something similar.
Boring.
If you want some excitement in your life instead of going with the logical, no-risk, no-reward choices, here's a look at some underdogs worth paying attention to.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (25/1)
Tsonga is coming off a disappointing showing at the Queen's Club last week, as he fell to Ivan Dodig in the third round.
Not such a good grass preview for the 27-year-old Frenchman.
Still though, this is a man who has made quarterfinals appearances at major events a common occurrence. With the exception of a fourth-round exit at the Australian Open, Tsonga has made the the quarterfinals his last three majors.
That includes an impressive French Open a couple weeks ago before just missing the upset over Novak Djokovic and a huge semifinal appearance last year at Wimbledon, a tournament in which he upset Roger Federer, arguably the best Wimbledon player ever, in the quarters.
If Tsonga is going to make it back to the semis, he'll likely have to get past Rafael Nadal, who he beat on the grass last year at the Queen's Club.
Should Tsonga make it there, he's shown he can compete with Federer and Djokovic. Don't count him out.
David Ferrer (125/1)
Getting Ferrer at 125-to-1 is a steal.
Sure, he's never won a major before and has never made it to the semifinals at Wimbledon, but things open up quite nicely for him.
The Spaniard managed to avoid Federer, Nadal and Djokovic in the bracket, so he won't meet up with any of them until the semifinals at the earliest.
His biggest obstacle in the first five rounds will be Andy Murray.
Ferrer, who is coming off a nice semifinal appearance at the French Open, is a smart bet at such favorable odds.
Juan Martin Del Potro (25/1)
The 23-year-old Argentine has made it to the quarterfinals at both majors this year, and he came extremely close to upsetting Roger Federer at the French.
Del Potro has immense talent, as he showed in 2009 when he won the U.S. Open, and while Wimbledon has been arguably his worst major, he's beginning to show he can hang with the big boys.
Just like Ferrer, Del Potro got a nice draw and can make a run to the semifinals without seeing any of the Big Three.
Del Potro, who took Nadal to four sets last year at Wimbledon, is a good bet.
