Toyota Save Mart 350 2012 Results: Reaction, Leaders and Post-Race Analysis
The next stop on the NASCAR schedule is Sonoma, where the world's best drivers will race each other on one of the sport's best tracks.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s victory at Michigan has given NASCAR a huge ride of momentum and excitement that is going to make Sunday's race at Sonoma a fantastic one.
UPDATE: Sunday, June 24 at 6:15 p.m. ET by Richard Langford
Green-white-checkereds are an entirely different animal on a road course. A lot can happen in those two laps.
In this case, not much did happen, but it was still exciting. Clint Bowyer had a big lead before that final caution. He was driving great and his car was strong. There was no doubting the strength of his car on the restart.
Bowyer was able to comfortably hold off road-course wiz Tony Stewart and take the victory. This was Bowyer's first win of the season. He is now in seventh place in the cup standings.
