Manny Pacquiao: Pac-Man Must Convince Bob Arum to Set Up Rematch with Bradley

Manny Pacquiao needs to do whatever he can to force Bob Arum into setting up a rematch between him and Timothy Bradley. 

After the WBO's five-member panel unanimously declared Pac-Man the winner upon review, a rematch is the only course of action that makes any sense at all. Pacquiao wants it to happen, according to the AP, and so should Arum.

When asked about whether or not he would ask Bradley to give up the belt, Pacquiao said he'd rather have the rematch because it was a split decision in the first place, and because "people may think I just usurped it" otherwise.

After the fight with Bradley, Arum immediately turned around and said he wouldn't approve a rematch unless there was a full investigation into judging, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Well, the investigation is complete, and the results are in. Pacquiao has been vindicated by the panel, and the best course of action is to set up the rematch that will give Pacquiao and his fans the opportunity to see him destroy Bradley once and for all.

The thing that grinds on me about the whole thing is that there's a sneaking suspicion in the back of my mind that this is exactly what Arum wanted to happen all along. He is an expert actor, and his show of anger and displeasure about the verdict in the first place never sat well with me. 

The fight would also put more cash into the already fat bankroll of Arum and Top Rank, so there's really no reason for him to object now. 

Pacquiao needs to get this matter fully behind him, and the best way to do that is by convincing Arum to let him and Bradley duke it out in the ring once again.
