Professional Wrestling: 10 of the Craziest Wrestling Ladies of All Time

David LevinJun 4, 2018

If CM Punk digs crazy chicks, then it is a good bet most of us dig them as well.

And in the business of professional wrestling, there have been a few crazy chicks, err, wrestlers, err managers, err...

Well, you get the point.

Right now, the A.J. Lee, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk "thing" is the best soap opera on television, far better than Dallas or Survivor or one of those weird cooking shows.

And with the twists and turns this girl pulls in making all of us believe she is indeed crazy, the subplots are endless, and this could be a program that has legs for some time in the WWE.

With that said, A.J. is not the only "crazy" chick wrestling has seen in its existence. Some were smoking hot, while others were just downright scary.

Here is a look at a few who are forever etched in our memories—or will be soon.

"Scary" Sherri Martel

1 of 10

Sherri Martel was such a great female wrestler in her day. And as AWA champion, she took on all that came through the territory.

As a manager, well, that is a little different. First as the manager of the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and then as the manager of the "Macho Man" Randy Savage, she was quite unique—and scary to look at.

She then moved on to WCW, where she became "Sister" Sherri and managed Harlem Heat.

Woman

As the former wife of Kevin Sullivan with his cult-like antics in Florida, Nancy Sullivan Benoit (she was married to Chris Benoit) was one strange and sexy lady.

She was also the manager of Doom (Ron Simmons and Butch Reed) and even escorted "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to the ring.

Nancy was one of those women who could just give you a look and you knew you were in trouble.

Nicole Bass

3 of 10

Got to be honest, when I first saw her in the ring, I wasn't sure if she was man, woman or beast.

Maybe a combination of all three.

Bass was huge and looked masculine and probably could have wrestled men long before Chyna and been successful.

Her stay in the wrestling ranks was off and on for a number of years.

Just her look made us all take a second look at her.

Lita

Lita was one crazy ass chick. Period.

As a wrestler and girlfriend of Matt Hardy, her popularity rose as high as any female wrestler ever in the WWE. And when she split with Hardy and worked a program with Kane and then  Edge in a real life love triangle, we all got to see her dirty side and the love-sick Hardy fall apart.

Lita could wrestle as well, if not better, than anyone in the ring, and the ability to fly off the ropes and try moves that men only dared to try made her an instant favorite of the fans.

Mickie James

5 of 10

Her pursuit of Trish Stratus made for some great drama when she was part of the Machine.

James is a talented wrestler in her own right and has held multiple world titles in the WWE and TNA.

She is currently a top contender for the TNA Knockouts Title.

But when she had a crush on Trish and pursued her like an awe-struck fan, we got to see just how crazy she could be.

Kharma

6 of 10

Be careful what you wish for.

No woman strikes fear in the female ranks like Kharma.

With her size, power and overall mean look, there has to be a few loose screws in that head of hers.

After causing terror in TNA, she moved on to WWE, where we are still waiting for her to unleash her awesome power.

Daffney

7 of 10

Wouldn't this vixen be the perfect match for CM Punk?

There is something about a Gothic chick that stirs the emotions.

Daffney was popular in TNA and WCW. Her sexy and different appearance was a real winner.

Couldn't you see Daffney and Punk going down to the tattoo shop after a match and inking up a bit?

I sure could.

Chyna

8 of 10

She wrestled men. There has to be something crazy in that.

The greatest women's wrestler of all time in my estimation was as hardcore about making the men she faced suffer as she was feminine and passive in her "Latino Heat" program with Eddie Guerrero.

When you looked at her, you were scared. When you saw her muscles, you were scared.

One of the baddest characters in wrestling, ever. Period!

Mae Young

9 of 10

She was a great rival of the Fabulous Moolah when she was in her prime and later was brought back to the WWF for skits with wrestlers like Mark Henry.

It made both of them look foolish.

But Young also did skits where she slapped LayCool around and even teased The Rock a bit.

All in fun, but definitely not needed.

A. J. Lee

10 of 10

You knew we would not leave her off the list.

Maybe the craziest chick on the list because she is manipulating and toying with three guys at once.

I don't know whether to salute her for her antics or be pissed she is not flirting with me.

She is the cutest one on this list and maybe the most deadly for her ability to be so persuasive.

That is a winning combination in anyone's book.
