Steven Seagal and the Top 10 Celebrity UFC Fans

0 of 11

Steven Seagal's recent comments regarding Jon Jones "inability" to strike has a lot of UFC fans wondering.

What other celebrities invest their time and interest into mixed martial arts?

Who has shown support for the UFC in the past and to what extent?

Is the celebrity fanbase growing and becoming more diverse?

    Look no further.

Here are the top 10 celebrity fans of the UFC today.

Honorable Mention: Justin Bieber

1 of 11

Justin Bieber is killing it these days.

Boxing with Mike Tyson, slugging paparazzi, crushing on Selena Gomez and snapping pics with UFC president Dana White.

He's come a long way, but it's safe to say that Bieber is one of the chillest UFC fans around.

10. Michael Clarke Duncan

2 of 11

While Michael Clarke Duncan looks like he can contend in the UFC heavyweight division, he does most of his damage outside of the cage.

From what I remember, Duncan has been pumping his fists Octagon-side for some time now and doesn't seem to be letting up.

But truthfully, it'd be terrible to sit behind him during a fight. You wouldn't see anything.

9. The Rock

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is all over the map.

From headlining WrestleMania to dressing up as a tooth fairy, the ex-Miami Hurricane has become a bona fide A-list boss.

And quite frankly, as a big-time UFC fan, I'm happy to have someone like The Rock on board.

    Keep doing you, brother.

8. Mickey Rourke

4 of 11

Is there anybody in the world who rocks a fedora better than Mickey Rourke?

I don't think so, especially when it's side-by-side with boxing legend Bernard Hopkins.

Rourke, and his fedora, have been to a few UFC events now and are easily considered tenured Octagon onlookers.

7. Ron Perlman

5 of 11

Ron Perlman may be out of character, but Hellboy is exactly where he belongs.

His taste for violence is extraordinary, not only evident by his mixed martial arts soft spot, but by his outlaw role as Clay Morrow on Sons of Anarchy.

At this point, Perlman has earned my respect as a top-notch UFC celeb.

6. The Undertaker

6 of 11

    How badass is The Undertaker?

    Honestly, his swagger is unexplainable.

The guy literally rides to UFC events on his chopper, stakes out front row seats and then talks trash to Brock Lesnar as he leaves the Octagon.

Now, I don't know if The Undertaker can actually last a minute with Lesnar, but his charisma as a fan is unmatchable.

5. Shaquille O'Neal

7 of 11

Not many people know that Shaquille O'Neal has been training in mixed martial arts for years.

He's even gone as far as challenging one-time MMA fighter and life-long juicer Jose Canseco to an Octagon showdown.

And besides being the obvious favorite to decapitate Canseco, "The Big Shaqtus" knows his stuff.

4. Mike Tyson

8 of 11

Despite being known as one of the most popular and controversial boxers of all time, Mike Tyson is truly an avid UFC fan.

He predicts fights, breaks them down and then attends them.

So while many people look at "Iron Mike" and see pigeon practitioner, I look at his tattooed exterior and see a true mixed martial arts enthusiast.

3. Charlize Theron

9 of 11

    The secret's out!

Charlize Theron is a full-blown UFC fan.

Her obsession has even hit the mainstream stratosphere, showcasing her true love for the bloodiest sport on Earth.

Theron's interest with the UFC is proof that a woman can not only be drop-dead sexy, but possess the personality of a combat-thirsty warrior.

2. Steven Seagal

10 of 11

Truthfully, I've always looked at Steven Seagal's movies, silly mixed martial arts moves and overall persona as a Hollywood gimmick.

But after finding out he was the one who taught Anderson Silva the front heel kick that knocked out Vitor Belfort at UFC 126, my first impression went out the window.

The fact of the matter is that Seagal actually knows his stuff.

It may seem as if the 60-year-old actor is one of those "fake" martial artists, like ballerina Jean-Claude Van Damme, but Seagal is the real deal.

1. Kevin James

11 of 11

If it wasn't for his love for comedy, Kevin James could've been a professional mixed martial artist.

He trains with Randy Couture, played football in college and possesses incredible speed for his size.

In the past, James has been one of the biggest supporters for mixed martial arts and the UFC, going as far as showcasing fighters like Couture, Dan Henderson and Rampage Jackson on The King of Queens.

And if that isn't enough proof that James is the ultimate UFC fan, how about his new movie Here Comes the Boom?
