Pacquiao vs Bradley Photo Slideshow: Fight Fans Came from All Over!
Now that all the drama from the controversial result of Manny Pacquiao losing to Timothy Bradley has cooled off just a tad bit and everyone had a chance to watch the replay on HBO last Saturday night to re-score the fight, I say let's focus on the positive.
One of the positive things that a huge super star such as Manny Pacquiao, or of course the other biggest star of boxing Floyd Mayweather, can do is bring in the hardcore fans from all over the world to travel all the way to Las Vegas for their big fights.
For those of you who did not have the privilege to be in Las Vegas for the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight, here is a great photo slideshow of some of the fans who came in to Sin City from all over the world!
Just Touch Down from London Town............
1 of 8These ladies flew in all the way from London for the fight! They had really cool accents, and to be honest, when I asked who they wanted to win the fight, I could have sworn the one on the left in the white dress said "BJ PENN."
If you look carefully, she is holding a cocktail and may have had few too many drinks and thought Penn was fighting that night. Or maybe she thought I was Penn? I really don't know?
The other lady in blue holding a soda was able to fill me in on things.
I am impressed that these ladies came all the way from England to see the fight when a lot of people from LA would not even hop on the 15 freeway that weekend.
These ladies are more hardcore fight fans than you guys!
Manny Pacquiao Impersonator
2 of 8If you were in Vegas during the big fight weekend, you might have seen this Manny Pacquiao impersonator running around the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay.
There are always "Fake Manny Pacquiaos" at every Pacquiao fight, but this guy went all-out and owns the rest. He has the cool fight trunks, hair style, sunglasses, championship belt and Manny facial hair to beat all the others.
But most impressive is the fact that he worked out and trained so hard to be ripped just as the real Pacquiao is, while other fake Mannys would not be able to match up with the fighting congressman's incredible physique.
These guys came down from the Bay Area, and they have their own eyewear company.
Bumped into Tim Bradley's in-Laws in the Bathroom
3 of 8So before the fight, I noticed two guys wearing Bradley t-shirts, and they turned out to be Tim Bradley's in-laws. The two men are Monica Bradley's brothers.
Here they are holding up the Team Bradley banner.
The shirts were also pretty cool with the Tim Bradley logo in the front and a design of a road that looks like it resembles the famous Palm Springs tramway road going upward that Bradley said he's been doing his road work up and down ever since he was a kid.
I told the two brother in-laws that I wrote a good piece that got about 10,000 reads on how Bradley Is Being Cocky Only To Hype The Fight , and they said yes, Tim is the most humble guy ever.
The Coolest Pacquiao T-Shirt I Saw All Weekend
4 of 8Whenever you go to the Pacquiao fights, you now see all kinds of Pacquiao t-shirts galore.
But out of all the Pacquiao t-shirts I saw that weekend, I would have to say this was the coolest one.
I like how just by the hair and facial hair alone, you know who it is without actually seeing a face or eyes.
It's almost like an innovative corporation's logo.
Chicago and Arizona Honeys Come out to Vegas for Pacquiao
5 of 8So these ladies from Chicago and Arizona came out to Vegas for Pacquiao. I asked them if they are part Filipino because they do appear to look mixed, but it turns out they are not part Filipino and they are actually Polish.
So Polish honeys for Pacquiao!
Houston Mexican-American Pacquiao Fans Rockin the Filipino Flag
6 of 8These fight fans came all the way from Houston, Texas to see Pacquiao fight. They are such big fans that they were rocking the Filipino flag as a cape even though they are Mexican-American.
I told you guys in the previous fights many Mexican and Mexican-American fans embraced and love Pacquiao so much that they rock the Filipino flags as capes around their shoulders. Interesting, huh?
The Man to the far left wearing the black shirt also got up in the picture and wanted it to be known that he's from Kazakhstan, home to Borat and WBA light heavyweight champion Beibut Shumenov.
Also, at this time, someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around. To my surprise, it was the hard-working top featured columnist, Vitali Shaposhnikov.
Italian-American Pacquiao Fan Rocking a Filipino Flag Designed Polo Shirt
7 of 8In the VIP ringside bar section, I bumped into this Italian-American Pacquiao fan who was rocking this Filipino flag-designed polo with the obvious intentions of showing who he was riding with that night.
One of the reasons why he told me he was Italian-American was because I was rocking a Team Italy Polo shirt that day actually.
This man came from the Orange County area to see the big fight.
This Man Flew in All the Way from Hong Kong and Wore a Bold T-Shirt
8 of 8This man was probably the coolest man I met all weekend. He told me he flew in from Hong Kong to be at the fight and had what I thought might have been a cool British accent.
He was also rolling with a cool entourage of hip stylish entourage members wearing nice suits and dresses, and obviously, a successful man like him could have worn an expensive suit as well, but he chose to wear this t-shirt instead.
Whether you agree with the bold statement that this man's T-shirt is saying or not, you have to admit that's a pretty freaking cool T-shirt.
Maybe Hong Kong business men get all the cool stuff first before we do?
At Mayweather fights, many fans also wear T-shirts that have a needle and syringe with the words: "TAKE THE TEST!" on them as well. Which is an obvious bold statement directed towards Pacquiao in regards to Mayweather's drug testing demands that were calling out Pacquiao.
But this man's shirt pretty much owns those shirts.
In conclusion, it really is amazing to see all kinds of people from all walks of life from all over the world come together one night just for the love of boxing. That truly is a remarkable thing to see.
Many fight fans on the Internet claim to be the biggest fight fans in the world, but wouldn't these guys own you guys cause they actually flew in from all over the world?
Wouldn't you agree?
Also, if you have not seen the official King J Coverage Pacquiao vs Bradley video, you should definitely watch it! I got an excellent interview with Max Kellerman, who provided a very honest candid interview right after the fight ringside.
King J is the Bleacher Report Boxing Community Leader and a Featured Columnist. All of these photos were taken by him and were approved by the individuals in the photos to be used for this photo slideshow during the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight weekend.
