Paul Pogba Will Regret Ditching Manchester United
Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba has left the club to join Serie A champions Juventus, according to the Daily Mail, but he will come to regret this decision as one of the worst of his career.
Pogba is a 19-year-old French midfielder who was one of the best players in the United youth academy. He joined the youth squad under controversial circumstances as his former team, Le Havre, accused the Red Devils of illegally poaching the rising star.
He made his senior team debut this past season, and this was likely a move by Sir Alex Ferguson to try and keep him from leaving. In December of 2011, Ferguson said, via A. Marshall and D. Sharrock of ManUtd.com:

"I mean if we hold Pogba back, what’s going to happen? He’s going to leave. You know, in a couple of years’ time when his contract is going to finish. So we have to give him the opportunity to see how he can do in the first-team and he’s got great ability, plus he’s got the physique and athleticism.
"
The United boss clearly had high hopes and big plans for the midfielder. United has an aging group of central midfielders, with Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs well into their 30's and close to retirement, while Michael Carrick just turned 30.
There would have been space for Pogba to feature regularly in the starting-11 in the coming years had he stayed at Old Trafford.
Besides Barcelona, no team has equaled United’s level of sustained success in recent seasons. The team has won the English Premier League title in four of the last six seasons and been in the Champions League final in three of the last five seasons, winning the tournament once.
Juventus has made a recent return to the top of Serie A after the team was relegated as punishment for its involvement in the 2006 Italian match-fixing scandal.
No club in the world can offer the stability that Sir Alex and Man U can provide, especially not a club with a shady past like Juventus.
Pogba would have been guaranteed a featured role with the senior team for one of the most famous and stable clubs in the world, but instead, he threw that away by moving to Juventus.
