Raw Elimination Chamber Breakdown
This is by far the worst Elimination Chamber the WWE has ever put together.
The Match in no way compares to Smackdown's and ECW seems to be more interesting at it's houseshows then this storyline.
Raw is the flagship show! So why then are three of their top guys, Shawn Michaels, JBL, and CM Punk, not in the chamber.
I know, I know the All or Nothing Storyline, but come on.
Ok, let's look at who is in it though. John Cena is walking in the Champ and the challengers are Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Kane, Mike Knox, and Kofi Kingston.
What is the Raw writing team thinking by putting this match together? Is this an attempt to early push young talents who aren't ready, or is it an attempt to sink their primetime show into horrible ratings?
Kofi Kingston and Mike Knox have no chance in hell at winning it.
Kofi is too inexperienced and I do not think he has proved himself as a top shelf competitor. He is a mid-carder at the most.
Yes he has held the Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles, but has he proven himself worthy of a World Heavyweight Title match?
I really like the choice of Knox though and the way they have built him for the match. Knox is a beast. He is going to do some damage to Kofi and Rey, but still does not deserve to be in the match.
Kane should get a push here and win, but he is still too caught up in the Rey storyline which should have ended a long long time ago and will most likely be eliminated by him.
Mike Knox along with Kane are going to be pushed into the Tag Team realm to give it more competition so neither of them are in my running to get the belt.
Jericho is going to be used at Wrestlemania verses some Legend or celebrity. So goodbye Jericho Title reign going into Wrestlemania. What a waste! Jericho is the hardest worker and by far the best wrestler on Raw with Punk being a close second. How can we pass up Jericho again and again for a title reign?
Rey Mysterio and John Cena are going to have a huge night.
Too bad for Mysterio, he will not sell out Wrestlemania. This means Rey Rey ain't gonna win the title. The 619 superstar will make himself known throughout the match, be the reason to watch it, even buy the pay per view, but won't be walking out the champion.
So sad, too bad.
Cena walks in dominant, takes a few minutes of beatings, walks out even more dominant and on the hot street to Wrestlemania.
Here is how the match is going to go.
It will start with either Knox and Kofi or Knox and Mysterio. The reason is to build the elimination of Knox once the other light-heavyweight enters.
After Knox is eliminated Kane will then enter and begin his destruction. Look for a lot of high flying moves from Mysterio off of the structures inside as well as Kane using everything and anything to inflict pain.
Cena will be the next as aid for the light-heavyweights and to give Kane some competition. Kane will have removed Kofi by this point and it will be Kane, Mysterio, and Cena.
This will be an exciting part of the match with a lot of Cena, Kane action going into the next big push when Jericho will be the last one in and will go right for Cena giving Kane and Mysterio the spotlight.
Look for Jericho to get an upper hand on Cena, but get disposed of after all of Cena's signatures and ending with the Attitude Adjustment (or the FU for those who don't know it got changed to better suit the PG image the WWe is looking for).
Mysterio will pin Kane after an incredibly high-risk 619 that will be talked about for the next 20 years.
This will lead to the inevitable Mysterio-Cena paring that everyone wants to see, especially me. It will be a good, fast-paced end with the finish coming after Mysterio gets caught after Cena cathes Mysterio's high risk move and feat of strength it into the Attitude Adjustment.
Winner and Still Champion: John Cena
Overall this is a bad and poorly built match, with some good spots, but will pale in comparison to the rest of the show.
This match is too easy to read and will not have any major surprises that will make you want to watch Raw the day after.
