Christian is Back in The WWE on ECW? Well I LIKE the Idea

I recently was watching the WWE's ECW brand show. I usually watch it and try to get through the matches with people I don't like. But right away on a live version of ECW, Christian Cage made his WWE return after a 3 year stint in TNA Wrestling.

He came out during a Jack Swagger promo and my jaw literally dropped. This was significant because I was eating and well, the food came out of my mouth.

But then the best part was not only did we just see him, but we got to see him wrestle the same night against ECW Champion Jack Swagger.

I personally didn't think we would see Cage on ECW of all places. But I like the idea by the WWE. See Cage's WWE return has been on the heels of happening for some time. There was no surprise in it at all if he returned at the Rumble as we all thought.

So why not bring him on a live ECW when no insiders and websites would pick up on it in time. It was a great surprise and the WWE finally made me surprised for once.

I don't know why like I said that the WWE put him on ECW. But the idea is a good one because not only will he be on ECW but we will see him on other shows too, like SmackDown and RAW.

He may even get drafted later in the year. But since Matt Hardy left for SmackDown you have to say that the WWE needed a big star to go on ECW to take his place. And also ECW needs ratings.

And it did do well from what I am hearing last night. I knew that they would not have his return on SmackDown. And it made sense why not because SmackDown is taped. He would have to either come back on RAW or at a PPV.

But we forgot that the WWE has live ECW shows too, from time to time. This is the first in months and I was wondering why it was live at the start of the show.

But I quickly understood why when Cage made his return. ECW is a good place for Cage because he can be a face and eventually win the ECW Championship. People that I have heard on the subject have mentioned that they hate him going to ECW.

The WWE realize that he can be big, but they can put him on RAW or SmackDown because he would automatically be a favorite for the World Titles there.

And right now Randy Orton and Triple H are the top guys to face the World Champions of their respective brands at Wrestlemania. So Cage going there would be bad because he wouldn't have a good return.

He could make a good return on ECW, and possibly be at Wrestlemania in an ECW Championship match. Also when you think about it, he will still be huge on other shows. I mean ECW guys are on both RAW, ECW, and SmackDown all the time.

We could potentially see a tag match with Christian and Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy and Edge on SmackDown in a few weeks. It may be a fan idea, nut it could happen.

People who hate this idea are brain dead to me because he is finally in the WWE and we finally get to see him wrestle there. Also, we would see him more if he is an ECW star rather than a pure SmackDown or RAW star.
