Is Bounty-Gate the Worst Scandal in Sports History?
The sporting world has seen some rather hefty sports scandals. I would even say that we've had a plethora of sports scandals. Most of us are familiar by now with the Saints' involvement in an alleged pay-to-injure program run by defensive players and assistant coaches. What about some of the other big scandals seen in the NFL, and other sports?
The Black Sox Scandal (1919): If you've ever seen Eight Men Out, it makes you wonder a couple of things. First of all, hey, this DVD isn't about gay guys at all! But more importantly, getting almost every guy on a baseball team to throw the World Series is pretty intense business.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Bad Newz Kennels (2007): Michael Vick spent two years in jail for his alleged involvement in operating an underground dogfighting circuit. I really don't have a joke for that.
BrettFavrePenis.jpg (2010): If you're upset about your parents being on Facebook, just remember: It could always be worse.
The City College Of New York Point-Shaving Scandal (1950-1951): The trouble with shaving points is that, with college-aged players, not all of the points have quite hit puberty yet.
Pete Rose Betting On Baseball: He didn't do it. He didn't do it. Oh, actually, yeah, he did it.
Art Schlicter Betting On Football (1982-1983): Schlicter really set the blueprint for how to dodge almost half a million bucks worth of gambling losses, some of which came from his betting on the NFL. When his bookies threatened to expose his nefariousness to the world, he went to the feds and testified against them. Problem solved! Oh, and he got himself banned from the NFL after that. Problem not solved.
Tonya Harding's Attack On Nancy Kerrigan (1994): Why? Why? Why did you release a sex tape, Tonya? We just don't like you in that way!
SpyGate (2007): Some folks get all buggered about the media's tendency to stick the "-gate" suffix onto everything resembling a scandal these days. I actually enjoy it.
Every NBA Draft Lottery (1985- ): Where are the ping-pong balls, Mr. Stern?
Steroids: Meh. Steroids are the only reason anybody today watches baseball.
Please leave me your thoughts on the biggest sports scandal ever in the comments.
