No Artificial Hunger Here, Only Arseficial Hunger
Yes, yes you guessed right, Arse-ish it is, as you've clearly noticed, again bringing you all the stuff going on with Arsenal FC.
There was no post yesterday as I was out of town and too overworked to get my head around to writing one.
Enough of that, lets get stuck in, Arseurs.
It's Wigan Away at the JJB tomorrow.
The opposition may not be quite like Milan, but as Le Prof acknowledges, they are under as much pressure to get the points as we are so we cannot afford to be complacent, saying:
"It will be a big test because they play not to go down. We expect a big commitment. They are under pressure like we are under pressure, so we are both in the same conditions."
Proceeding to speak of the hunger that this young squad posseses Arsene said:
"This team hasn’t an artificial hunger; they are really hungry for success and that's why I have believed in them since the start of the season. And that's why sometimes we are a bit excessive sometimes because we are not artificial in our desire to be successful."
There's a good team bonding and a good team spirit.
Of course Gallas is the captain and the experienced players have a little bit more to say, but everybody is always very highly focussed and concerned."
Well as it turns out, it's plain to everyone that the way we set our stall up this season was to focus on the Premiership and the CL, with every other competiton coming in second best.
That's exactly how it turned out.
That would explain the some what below par performances in the domestic cup competitons.
While we have dropped points in recent weeks in the Premiership, that cannot be put down to lack of desire , but just the de riguer of the prem.
We had an unbelievable performance in Europe this week, now we have to carry this momentum in to the EPL.
What do you know, it's former Chelski Boss, Moaninho running his mouth off again, if you missed it yesterday, it's all here.
Arsene has countered it with the charecteristic class which is now part of his legend. This particular variety of class cannot be taught or bought.
Well you will have to read it all here.
I guess as far as this is concerned, Wenger is still in his position at The Arsenal and The Portugese twit despite his "success" was thrown out on his arse, need I say more?
There will be more on the Wigan game tomorrow, it's a 16.00 kickoff UK time, and a 21.30 India time and you can watch it in Asia on ESPN. So plan your lives accordingly.
In closing, I will point you towards two stories that you might have missed (If you did though, how did you?).
This one about Sepp Blatter looking to increase the ban on Taylor, and this one about Bentley asking Theo to leave the club, with Arsene's take on the whole thing.
Don't you just feel like bashing Bentley's head in?
I would, in a jiffy!
Have a good Saturday folks!
