Brett Favre Retires... Again
One year after announcing his retirement from the NFL, the most accomplished quarterback of all time has once again announced he is retiring.
New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre stunned the football nation last season when he decided he wasn't ready to call it quits. He was then released from the Packers and signed by the Jets, shocking everyone across the nation.
It seems like he is ready to stay in retirement this time around and that his emotions will not get the better of him.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Clearly, this time it's not a ploy to get on the cover of Madden '10.
The Jets are now in the same predicament that the Packers were in at the end of last season—go with their backup quarterback or pick up a new started at the draft. Aaron Rodgers worked out well for the Packers, so Jets fans are wondering if Kellen Clemens can perform the same way?
Gut instincts say "no", especially given the fact that they had to option to use Clemens after releasing Pennington last season.
Favre's legacy will live on for a long time as upcoming quarterbacks will continuously try to break the records he set:
MVP Awards—3
Career Passing Touchdowns—464
Career Passing Yards—65,127
Career Pass Completions—5,720
Career Wins as Starting QB—169
Most Games Started by a Quarterback—269
Most Consecutive Games Started by a QB—269
Most Regular Season Wins by a Starting QB—162
Most Games With 3+ TD Passes—65
Favre will be missed by all, but I'm sure we'll see him come back to the NFL in one form or another somewhere down the road. His love for the game will not allow him to be away for an extended period of time.
