ECW: A New Era of Extreme!!!

Hello guys. Once again I've been reading some of the great articles here lately about Raw episodes and Smackdown episodes written by Ray Bogusz and Greg Bush. I think you guys totally rock for the great shows that you all have planned.

My idea is to complete your triangle of shows and write articles about the ECW brand for I do have big plans for the, "Land of Extreme!"

1. I've decided to be completely fair and start my ECW story right where you guys started... The ECW right after the Royal Rumble PPV.

2. Since we can't use free agents that are no longer with the WWE unless they are reoccurring stars like Flair, Piper, or RVD, I will abide by those rules

3. We can only trade amongst ourselves, but not without the other sides consent.

Lets get going!

We open ECW with a recap of the Royal Rumble, basically with Swagger defeating Matt Hardy to retain the ECW championship and Hardy then betraying his brother Jeff costing him the WWE title.

The opening pyro hits as the theme song and video plays.

Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcomes us to an exciting night of ECW, and they announce the main event of the night being a huge tag-team elimination match with a stipulation:

The final two competitors in the match will earn two spots in the Elimination Chamber match for the ECW title at No Way Out. The participants are former tag champs Miz and Morrison versus Finlay and a partner of his choosing.

Matt Hardy theme hits and he is boo'd badly by the ECW fans and he's accompanied by a unknown man in a blue suit.

Hardy: I dont have alot of time to answer any of your questions about why I attacked my brother, so I will get right down to the point and call out Theodore Long right now!

Teddy doesn't come out, but he appears on the Titan-tron.

Teddy: I'm not going to come out to that ring Matt. Lately, you've been kind of out of your head and I'm sick of answering to my bosses for your actions at the rumble two days ago. So I have a proposition for ya playa. If you wish to remain here on ECW, you are.....

Matt: Shut-up!!! That is why I called you out here. I wanted to inform you that I had some paperwork done at WWE Headquarters, well Mr.Andrews will tell you.

Mr. Andrews: Well Mr. Long, Matt Hardy has been here on ECW as the champ for a while now and wants to have his rematch tonite against Swagger. If he doesn't get the rematch that he wants, he will walk and sign with Smackdown. So Mr. Long what will you decide on doing?

Teddy: Well Matt is one hell of an athlete and he is a former tag-team, u.s., cruiserweight, and ECW champion hmm... bye! A have a safe trip playa. Holla, holla holla!!!

Teddy music hits and Matt Hardy is seen visibly upset with the decision made by Long. The music cuts and Hardy delivers a Twist of Fate to Mr. Andrews.

We go to commercial.

We return with Hardy putting his bags in his car and Ricky Ortiz comes up.

Ricky: Sorry to see that you are no longer apart of our great lockeroom. We'll miss ya man.

(Ortiz offers out his hand to shake Hardy's, but Hardy looks him in the eye, and just gets in his car without saying a word, leaving Ortiz looking confused.) 

Paul Burchill's music hits as he comes to the ring.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Paul Burchill vs Tommy Dreamer

Tommy comes out to a standing ovation as he enters the ring. Both men get in each others faces and Tommy looks as if he has a new found passion and rage.

Teddy Long comes out.

Teddy: This is too good to pass up playa.This is now an official ECW Extreme Rules Match. Goodluck gentlemen and may the most extreme man win!!!

Both men lock up and Paul gets Tommy in a headlock. Tommy pushes Paul off of the ropes. Paul comes back and knocks down Dreamer with a huge shoulder block. Paul bounces off of the ropes and hops over Dreamer, hits the ropes and gets hit by a sloppy clothesline.

Paul gets back to his feet and gets slammed hard with a belly to belly suplex. Paul rolls out of the ring and starts to recover as Tommy stands in the ring and appeals to live crowd and they seem to be really hot for this match.

We go to commercial.

We return as Paul is beating the hell out of Dreamer in the turnbuckle corner with right hands. (We cut to an ECW replay that shows how Burchill has regained control of the match. As Burchill was outside the ring recovering, Dreamer climbs outside the ring onto the apron and tries to dive onto Paul, but Burchill sidesteps Dreamer and he hits the steps pretty intensely.)

Dreamer throws Burchill off of the ropes and tries to clothesline Dreamer, but he ducks it and hits a reverse ddt. The crowd ignites with that and Dreamer slowly goes to the outside and goes under the ring and grabs two chairs and throws them into the ring. He grabs a trash can with the lid inside and throws it into the ring.

He goes back under the ring and gets a ladder, but as he tries to put it into the ring, Burchill does a baseball slide and knocks the ladder into Dreamer's face. (He botches this move and Dreamer is bleeding heavily out of his mouth.) Paul goes out and throws Dreamer back into the ring and goes for the cover. 1, 2...Dreamer barely kicks out.

Paul gets up and sets a chair in the corner and puts the trashcan in the opposite corner. As he tries to get Dreamer up, he low blows Burchill and throws him into the trashcan very hard. The crowd comes to life as they are really into this one. Dreamer puts his hand into his mouth and sees that he is bleeding. He goes into a frenzy.

He gets on the top rope and hits a huge elbow drop. He is feeling it and as Paul gets up, Dreamer spears him very tough. He gets Burchill up and does a huge back-breaker onto the already set-up chair. The crowd chants: "ECW, ECW, ECW!!!" Dreamer feeds off of the crowd and goes outside the ring and gets a table and puts it into the ring. He sets it up. Burchill slowly gets up and receives a huge clothesline.

Dreamer puts him on the table and delivers about five-punches to the head. Dreamer goes back outside the ring and gets the ladder and puts it in the ring. He sets up the ladder. Paul looks to be recovering, but Dreamer slams him in the face with the chair. Paul is now completely laid out on the table.

Dreamer grabs the chair and climbs the ladder. He reached the top and panders to the crowd and says, "E..C..W!!!". He dives off with the chair across his chest and lands on Burchill through the table. (What a huge maneuver!!! Reminds me of the old ECW days. *hint, hint*) He hooks he leg. 1-2-3!!!

The match was amazing and the crowd was electrified through the whole thing and Dreamer receives a bigger pop than he has ever received in a long time.

Tommy: Cut my music! (he then rips off his shirt.) I'm tired of of just doing things the WWE way. The right way, the way that keeps the show family friendly. I'm tired of this new ECW. There is going to be a few more changes around here. Ladies and Gentlem... SCREW IT! My ECW men and women, The Innovator of Violence is back!!!

His music hits as he leaves the ring and we see ECW Champion Jack Swagger looking at the monitor showing the new and more extreme Tommy Dreamer. Swagger then looks at his title and looks very worried.

We go to commercial.

We Return:

Chimel: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the ECW Championship Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. This bout is a Tag Team Elimination Match. The two remaining competitors will automatically quailfy for two chamber slots.

The Miz and John Morrison make their entrance, but instead of them being in their usual cocky mode, they forcefully make their way to the ring and John Morrison grabs the mic.

Morrison: Finlay! Get your gapped toothed ass out here and bring your little vile and disgusting mentally challeged son with you! So we can earn our rightful spots into the chamber match at No Way Out! Come on you green loving imbecile!

Finlay music hits and he makes his way to the ring to a huge pop. Just as he reaches the bottom of the ramp, Finlay grabs a mic.

Finlay: Okay sir, just cool your little boy-band self down so I can introduce you to my extreme tag-team partner...

Morrison: We already know that your damn music is going to play and your little idiot of a son is going to come out and hop around as if he just left Micheal Jackson's home. Just bring his ass out here so we can get your torture over with.

Finlay: Normally, I would be ready to rip your friggin heads off right now, but I just don't have that kind of time right now. Even though I deeply love my son, I will not even try to risk putting him into that steel hell. But I will say that my tag team partner is a former European, Tag-team, Intercontinental, WWE, and ECW champion.

(The arena is so silent that you could hear some people coughing.)

All of a sudden... Rob Van Dam's music hits and he receives one hell of a pop from the live crowd!!!

Both he and Finlay slide into the ring and they start trading rights and lefts with Morrison and The Miz. They both throw Miz and Morrison into the ropes and they clothesline them to the outside. The crowd is really into this one.

As Miz and Morrison try to regroup on the outside, Rob Van Dam runs to the ropes and hits a springboard moonsault from the inside to the outside of the ring. The crowd goes nuts for that massive spot.

We go to commercial.

We return with Finlay and Miz in the ring. Finlay is in control by having a sleeper hold locked in on the Miz and Morrison is begging for a tag. Miz slowly, but surely rises to his knees and starts delivering elbows to the sternum of Finlay. He knees Finlay in his stomach and runs to the ropes. He returns only to have Finlay take him back down with a powerslam. He goes for the cover. 1..2..The Miz gets his shoulder up, but Finlay locks in a triangle headlock on The Miz. The Miz looks to be fading away as the ref goes in to start the arm raises.

1...2...Morrison enters and delivers a standing moonsault across the body of Finlay. The ref is able to get Morrison out of the ring, but that gives The Miz the time he needed to get to his corner to make the tag. Morrison is back in and pulls Finlay away from his corner. He then delivers and elbow drop to Finlay's knee and locks in a leg lock.

Finlay is screaming in pain and trying to reach to rope, but Morrison tightens the hold even more. Finlay grabs Morrison's hair, but the ref starts to count. 1..2..3.. Finlay releases his hair and lays down.

The ref counts 1..2.. Finlay quckly sits back up and starts to kick Morrison in the back. Morrison finally lets go and gets Finlay's leg and drags him to his corner. Morrison lays Finaly's leg on the bottom rope.

Morrison steps up on the second rope and lands on his leg. Finlay screams again. Morrison holds on to Finlay's leg and tags in Miz, who gets in and bounces off of the ropes and kicks Finlay in the leg being held on to by Morrison. Morrison goes back to the apron.

The Miz grabs the leg and locks in the half crab. RVD hypes up the crowd to get behind Finlay. He overpowers Miz and kicks him off of the hold. He quickly tags in Morrison. He runs over to Finlay and drags him back across the ring by his leg and Miz tags himself back in. He stomps on Finlay's leg a few times and goes back for the cover.

1..2.. Finlay kicks out as we go back to commercial.

We return as the Miz has Finlay locked in the standing toe hold. RVD is rallying this crowd to get behind Finaly as he grabs the bottom rope, but the Miz wont let go of the hold. The ref begins to count, 1..2..3..4 the Miz finally lets go and drags Finlay to the middle of the ring and goes for the cover. 1..2.. Finlay kicks out again and the Miz looks to be getting frustrated.

The Miz throws Finlay into an empty corner and looks to be setting up a clothesline. He charges ahead to Finlay , but Finlay dives out of the way as the Miz his chest in the turnbuckle. The Miz turns around and Finlay tries to kick him with the bad leg, but the Mia catches his leg.

The Miz taunts Finlay to try and swing to hit him, but Finlay keeps missing. The Miz laughs, but Finlay hits him with the enziguri. The crowd chants, "RVD, RVD, RVD!" The Miz and Finlay slowly try to get to their respective corners.

The Miz makes the tag first, but Finlay makes his right after. RVD enters and the crowd goes crazy. John Morrison tries to go for the clothesline, but RVD ducks it and delivers huge spinning wheel kick to him. The Miz tries to get some offense by delivering right hands, but RVD blocks one and delivers a superkick to him.

Morrison turns RVD around and kicks him in the sternum and tries to go for the moonlight drive, but Finlay hits him wih a right hand to the back of his head and then delivers a huge suplex. RVD climbs to the top rope and ignites the crowd by doing his RVD taunt. He hits the five-star frog splash. 1-2-3! Morrison gets eliminated.

The Miz gets in and hits RVD with the jawbreaker.

Down goes RDV, but Hornswoggle comes from under the ring and distracts the ref long enough for Finlay to hit him with the shillelagh. RVD in a daze slowly climbs to the top rope and hits the frog splash. 1-2-3!

Finlay and Hornswoggle enters the ring and helps RVD to rise to his feet. They raise their hands in victory, but Jack Swagger comes out and holds his ECW title up.

The crowd is still going nuts for Finlay, Hornswoggle, and RVD!!!

RVD and Finlay both qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out.

The participants so far are:

3. Rob Van Dam

4. Tommy Dreamer
