Vegas-Style Odds on Where Nation's No. 1 Recruit Robert Nkemdiche Actually Signs

The nation’s top overall player is headed to Clemson.

Wait, not so fast, my friend. Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche has “committed” to Clemson, although he won’t formally be heading anywhere until next February, when he can sign his LOI.

That’s a long time.

While Clemson fans should be thrilled to be in the driver’s seat when it comes to the nation’s best player, they shouldn't get too comfy, as a lot of time and competition still lie ahead. Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss and others will still make a push for Nkemdiche’s services as the months progress, and this recruitment process is far from over.

Where will Nkemdiche eventually end up? We’ve handicapped the race using odds (for recreational purposes only, of course) to show where things sit given the latest developments.

Clemson is the morning-line favorite, but there are others that are not far behind.
