The Orange (No. 23 AP, No. 22 Coaches, 6-5, 18-6) are coming off one of their worst losses of the season and have now lost five of their last seven. Four of those five losses have come on the road, and in their last two losses they have allowed triple-digit points.

Unfortunately for Syracuse, their next game is on the road at the top-ranked Connecticut Huskies (No. 1 AP, No. 1 Coaches, 10-1, 22-1).

UConn has won eleven straight for the second time this season, and in their most recent Big East game, they blew out Louisville on the road.

The Huskies have been dominant in Big East play, and their frontcourt is the best the conference has to offer. Hasheem Thabeet is averaging 13.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.1 blocks per game, and Jeff Adrien is averaging a team-high 14.1 points and 10.1 rebounds.

The Orange aren't too shabby either—they have five players averaging double-digit points, and their frontcourt is within reaching distance of averaging a double-double as well (Paul Harris is averaging 13.1 points and 8.3 rebounds, and Arinze Onuaku is averaging 11.2 PPG and 7.6 RPG).
