The British tabloid reports that the Gunners have "not given up hope" of re-signing Van Persie. If no club pays £30 million, Arsenal will reportedly keep Van Persie for another year and let him go for free next summer.
The report also speculates that Theo Walcott could move this summer. Walcott, 23, has one year left on his current contract.
M'Vila Likes Arsenal?
2 of 7In other Arsenal news, French midfielder Yann M'Vila has reportedly told the Daily Express that he likes both Arsenal and the English Premier League.
The paper quotes M'Vila:
"I have heard Arsenal have an interest in me. I like Arsenal and I like the Premier League. I don’t know what is happening between the two clubs but I would be interested in the Premier League and Arsenal.
"
The Gunners have also been linked heavily with 25-year-old French striker Olivier Giroud.
Schweinsteiger Not Going to Chelsea?
3 of 7Germany and Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has played down rumors of a potential transfer to Chelsea.
Schweinsteiger, 27, met and spoke with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich when the Russian visited Germany's training camp recently. But Schweinsteiger said the discussion did not involve transfers.
Per ESPNSoccernet: "I was surprised to see him and wondered why he was here," Schweinsteiger said. "I've congratulated him and we had a brief chat. No, he didn't make me an offer."
Real Want Silva?

The British tabloid reports that Real will offer Manchester City £30 million this week for Silva, 26.
Modric and Bale to United?

According to Metro, both have been targeted by Manchester United.

Moyes: No Contact from Tottenham
6 of 7Everton's David Moyes has been linked with the vacant Tottenham Hotspur manager's job following the departure of Harry Redknapp.
But Moyes says there has been no contact from the London club.
Goal.com cites BBC's 5 Live in quoting Moyes: "There has been no contact [from Tottenham]. If there had been contact, the first person I would have told would be the chairman."
FA Under Investigation
7 of 7Finally, a bit of bad news for England.
UEFA is investigating English fans for their conduct during the Three Lions' 3-2 win over Sweden on Friday at Euro 2012. According to the BBC, the inquiry concerns an attempted pitch invasion near the end of the match.
According to the BBC, the FA will challenge the investigation by citing the UEFA delegate's report from the match.
The English FA is not the first association to find trouble with UEFA. The Russia federation was fined last week, and the Croatian association is also under investigation.
