US Open Golf Live Streaming 2012: Why Tiger Woods' 3rd Round Cannot Be Missed
The 2012 U.S. Open is past the halfway point and after the action today, it may be abundantly clear that Tiger Woods is back.
All the rounds going forward can be seen on a live stream hosted by USOpen.com.
Woods is at one-under par on a frustratingly difficult course at the Olympic Club is San Francisco.
He shot one-under par in the first round and finished even on his second run.
Woods was at the top of the sporting world two-and-a-half years ago when details about multiple extramarital affairs became public. It was a long way to fall.
He took an extended leave of absence from his golf career and when he returned, he was not the same player.
He suffered injuries following his comeback and struggled greatly. Woods won the BMW Championship in September of 2009 before his philandering was discovered and did not get another win at a PGA Tour event until he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March of this year.
Golf requires an indescribable amount of mental discipline and focus, and it is not surprising that Woods was not able to win a tournament when considering his health and his tumultuous personal life.
Still, he is the most talented golfer to ever play professionally and it was only a matter of time before he reminded fans of this.
After winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Woods then took the Memorial Tournament earlier this month. His form has returned, and he will begin to have his way with the course in San Francisco.
Woods has been extremely consistent in San Francisco so far, shooting just five bogeys in the first 36 holes.
Now that he knows the course in and out, he will get better as the tournament goes on. In Round 3, he will truly start to dominate again. This will be the tournament that Woods returns to his pre-2010 form.
His Round 3 performance will be a turning point in his career and it should not be missed.
