Center
Steve Ott, Dallas—Ott has been on fire with 12 points (six goals, six assists) and a +5 rating in his last eight games (1.5 points per game).  He had 12 points (five goals, seven assists) and a -4 rating in his first 28 games (0.43).  He has a cap number of $0.57M in the Sporting News salary cap game, and is owned in 10.2% of ESPN and 14% of Yahoo leagues.

Winger
Jere Lehtinen, Dallas—Another Star player has been heating up of late.  Lehtinen has 13 points (five goals, 13 assists) and a +6 rating in his last ten games (1.3).  He had seven points (one goal, six assists) and an even rating in his first 14 games (0.5).  He has a SN cap number of $1.85, and is owned in 73.1% of ESPN and 13% of Yahoo leagues.

Defenseman
Matt Niskanen, Dallas—I’m starting to see a common theme here.  Niskanen has eight points, all assists, and a +7 rating in his his current five game points streak (1.6).  He had 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) and a -11 rating in his first 45 games (0.36).  He has a SN cap number of $0.57M, and is owned in 8.7% of ESPN and 31% of Yahoo leagues.

Goalie
Chris Mason, St. Louis—I had to end the run of Dallas players.  Mason has been standing on his head of late.  In his last nine games, he’s 5-2-2 with a 1.43 Goals Against Average and a 95.0% Save Percentage.  In his first 18 games he was 3-12-1, which is quite a turnaround.  Aside from a horrendous December—in which he went 0-6 with a 4.32 GAA—he has been pretty steady all year.  He has a $3.43M SN cap number, and is owned in 15.1% of ESPN and 30% of Yahoo leagues.
