Kobe Bryant & Lebron James: Draft Your NBA Dream Team: BR5

So the age-old question arises: if you could get any five NBA players in their prime, whom would you take for your starting five? Things got a little wild at the Bleacher Report office when that question got thrown out, so we decided to roll camera.

 

Here are the stipulations: each player has to be currently playing in the NBA (so no Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan) and the more smack talk the better!

 

Six people got in front of the camera to give us their super team, and there was plenty of room for debate.

 

At Point Guard, there were a couple repeat picks. Rajon Rondo was selected twice and so was Chris Paul. The two others picked were Jason Kidd and Steve Nash.

 

At Shooting Guard, Kobe Bryant was selected three times. The others were Manu Ginobili, Ray Allen, and in a surprise move LeBron James.

 

At Small Forward, LeBron James received three votes. The others selected were Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Kobe Bryant.

 

At Power Forward, Dirk Norwitzki got two votes. The others selected were Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and Tim Duncan.

 

And finally at Center, Dwight Howard received two votes. The others selected were Andrew Bynum, Serge Ibaka, Tim Duncan, and DeAndre Jordan. You read that right: Serge Ibaka and DeAndre Jordan were not typos.

 

So there you have it. Who got it right, who got it wrong, and who should get their heads examined? As always, get those comments rolling below.
