WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Vince McMahon and Thursday's WWE News
Going over the WWE No Way Out card this Sunday, it has just occurred to me that the entire show is nearly full.
As of this writing, there have been five pay-per-view matches announced and one pre-show YouTube match. Given the way WWE has been building pay-per-view shows in recent months, with three matches set in stone and nothing else, this has to be considered a vast improvement.
There were still a lot of problems with the booking of the show, but beggars can't be choosers in today's WWE.

BROCK LESNAR'S GOT NO WAY OUT
With Triple H's special appearance at No Way Out rapidly approaching, some talk is going to turn to Brock Lesnar and whether he is going to be making a stop in East Rutherford on Sunday. Reportedly, it is not expected to happen but his status is "not confirmed."
Question on Everybody's Mind: WWE won't waste one of Lesnar's appearances here, right?
Our Take: As I have stated numerous times when the talk of Lesnar showing up at this pay-per-view began, using one of the precious few dates on his contract in an unadvertised appearance would be a huge mistake.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Botched Shooting Star Presses
For me, I wouldn't even have Lesnar on television again until SummerSlam. Build his match with Triple H up using Paul Heyman before having Lesnar return. I don't expect it to happen, but that's how I would use him.

RANDY ORTON REPORTEDLY TESTED POSITIVE FOR TESTOSTERONE
After weeks of speculation, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Randy Orton wound up testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone. The Newsletter also says that Orton blamed it on a tainted supplement.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Orton's excuse good enough?
Our Take: If you want to believe Orton, go ahead. That excuse gets used so often by so many athletes who fail tests that we could put together a long book just using the names of people who have blamed a failed drug test on a tainted supplement.
Hype Meter: 0 out of 5 Lame Excuses
Just once it would be nice to hear someone just admit what they did. Perhaps Orton, and all the others, really did get a hold of a tainted supplement. Considering how carefully they monitor their bodies, what goes in, etc., it's hard to buy what they are saying.

VINCE MCMAHON HAMS IT UP ON RAW
When you are Vince McMahon, you can get away with going off the script that you force the creative team to rewrite 100 times in the week leading up to Raw. He did just that this week by driving John Laurinaitis' scooter off the ramp.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Why does McMahon hate scooters?
Our Take: I think the scooter was just a way for McMahon to unleash his anger on the bad ratings patterns and pay-per-view buy rates in recent months. (Yes, I know the rating was up this week.) Either that, or he just wanted to watch Laurinaitis walk to the ring with a crutch.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Shoot Angles
I often wonder how McMahon would react if one of the wrestlers, besides John Cena, went off the script to do something like this. We all know about the hierarchy in WWE, so McMahon taking matters into his own hands should not be a surprise.

WWE FEELS TOO SMALL, WANTS TO GET BIGGER
Just when you thought we had seen the last of big giants who can't do anything in the ring, out comes a report where WWE is going back to recruiting bodybuilders and make them into stars.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will WWE never learn?
Our Take: Well, we can't have too many performers who look like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler because they are such strong wrestlers, but this is all about entertainment. Who wants good wrestling, especially when you can see two tall guys lumber around for 15 minutes?
Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 New Giants
I would be willing to bet that McMahon cringes every time he hears people cheer for Punk and Bryan. It is amazing that these two have managed to succeed in a company where the man in charge probably wants nothing to do with them, at least in big spots.
