Biggest Headcases in the NFL Today
Having a screw loose may not be a firm prerequisite for playing in the National Football League, but it helps.
The NFL has seen its fair share of headcases throughout its history. Packers wide receiver Max McGee played in the first-ever Super Bowl with a hangover. Joe Namath owned and operated a New York City bar that was reportedly frequented by the mob. Wide receiver Bernie Casey, who played eight years in the league, enjoyed painting. Seriously. Painting. Who does that? Chad Ochocinco, who just signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins, might be the league's leader in the crazy department.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The wide receiver and Miami native has drawn a lot of attention to himself with his unique touchdown celebrations and his use of Twitter. But with only 15 receptions last season, the guy with a mouthful of gold has been doing more tweeting than celebrating.
James Harrison, the Steelers' defensive end, has found himself battling the league office as much as opposing offensive linemen. Harrison has paid enough fines over his career to put all of Roger Goodell's future great-grandchildren through college, but still plays with the same intensity that we've come to expect from him. Is that inspirational? Or just dumb?
One guy who doesn't get his due for his share of cray-cray is Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall. This athlete has assembled a legacy of DUI, domestic abuse, misdemeanor battery and getting stabbed by his wife. Even Pacman Jones and the late Chris Henry would find that resumé impressive.
And then there's Jared Allen. At least now we know what happened to "Ogre" from Revenge Of The Nerds.
National lead writer Dan Levy and I debate the NFL's biggest headcase (and Dan even takes a bit of umbrage with the connotation of the word itself) in our latest debate. Enjoy our video above and leave us your thoughts in the comments.
