Hockey Mom Video: Watch Overprotective Mother Go Too Far During Fight

Kids, don't grow up only to let your mother embarrass you in front of your peers. 

The best video in youth hockey right now is making the viral rounds for all the wrong reasons. At the forefront is a mother who takes exception to how things are being refereed and does something about it. 

If she does have a son on the ice, he will never live down these few moments. 

Be warned that you can indeed hear some NSFW language. 

In all, you should really feel bad for the kid that had to answer yes to the question, "Dude, is that your mom?"

The YouTube description states that this a game between the Boston Raptors and Tribe, one that saw multiple fights break out through its duration. 

The Raptors' website states the age groups range from "Squirts" to "Junior Minors." Never having played youth hockey, I am unaware of what this actual age range consists of. 

Please let me know if you do. 

We also have no way of knowing how old these specific young men are, but it's clear that they wanted to engage their peers in competition. It's also clear that some of them are quite capable of scrapping and fighting their own battles. 

I know that one referee just stands by and does nothing, but another is definitely trying to bring calm to the game. 

The one thing you don't do is go on the ice, a general rule that translates to all sports and fields. Let kids get some bumps and bruises. But try to leave the ego unscathed.
