Racing Video: Watch Car Collision and Fallout Fight at Sportsdrome Speedway
This video has everything an auto racing fan loves.
Driving quickly around turns? Check. Car crash? Check. Two frustrated drivers getting out of their cars to fight one another, thus stopping the race? Check.
Update: Monday, June, 11th 8:45 p.m. ET
The video was shot by Jeff Pile who can be followed at @Jeff_Pile. He maintains the two cars were at it all race, and issues the following via Twitter.
"@gabezal The 2 drivers had been into it since the pace lap & the guy who got t-boned spun the other guy the last lap.

As well as this.
"@gabezal The guy who got t-boned had to get medical attention by EMS after either from the wreck or fight. Both are suspended.

End of update.
Barry Petchesky of Deadspin first reported on this minute of brilliance.
Like Petchesky, I really don't have much to offer in the way of specifics. I would love to hear from a fan who might know exactly what went down here at the Sportsdrome Speedway in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
My knowledge on auto racing is limited to understanding that there are a bunch of automobiles that go around a track at fast speeds.
I know, I am close to an expert.
I would be on board with the whole sport if it included intermissions wherein the drivers got out of their cars and started bombing on one another.
That's a sport I can drink to.
It appears that one driver became so incensed that he said to hell with social norms and cut across the infield to T-bone one of the other drivers.
The other driver, assumedly still a little woozy from being smashed into, gets out of his car to meet with the offender.
And, before you know it, it's on like Donkey Kong, and the other drivers have to slow to a crawl as their fellow racers enjoy a good old-fashioned fight on the track.
Who said racing can't be exciting?
