Juande Ramos: 1-Nill!

Numerous player injuries, a disintegrated team, a gaping point difference with la liga table header and an upcoming clasicooo!! This is how Juande Ramos took charge of his new team REAL MADRID...and now 7 La liga matches later...things are getting a bit better!!

Apart from losing against Barcelona (his first la liga match)...Juande moved on to win consecutive seven wins .....including such strong teams as Valencia and Villareal and other mid table teams like deportivo, Racing Santander, numancia and other struggling teams such as ossasuna and mallorca.

Of course, such results have made eager fans feel at bit in peace with their team...but still, Juande is being critcised for being more of a defensive coach as he won four of the listed matches 1-NIL...and is always depending on two defending midfielders GAGO and LASS.

As a result, memories of what happened to Capello are now finding their way to the Bernabiou! But the question is, is winning by a goal difference becoming too little for pampered Real madrid fans? And if this continues will Juande see his short term contract put to an end?!

After what real madrid have suffered from this year...I find that the 1-0 score is nothing less than perfect...especially that zero part!! Juande was extremely smart to start his work from the back four...coz with one look at the team statistics it was easy to find the flaw his team suffered.

And he knew that improving the defence would mean victories which is now the last thread that can get the real madrid engines to work again and push them out of a disastrous season!

And actually, I believe that even JUande himself needs victories at any price and any cost coz he too had his self confidence shaken after that Tottenham fling he had!! And lets not forget that two of these wins were against top of laliga's table.

Finally, we have to put in mind that its difficult to keep up the pace with a team having a once-in-a-lifetime season and putting on a show every week!!With all of their bruises and pains, you have to admire that Realmadrid is now the only team pushing with Barcelona...showing what they are really made up of!!

Goals will increase and entertainment will be back at the Bernabiou which has always been the place for football-hungry fans...and Juande himself might change his formation when he thinks the team has stabilized...but for now lets all just settle for the 1-Nill!!
