Euro 2012 Live Stream: Where to Catch Sunday's Biggest Stars

Andrew KulhaJun 10, 2012

If you want to watch stars from Spain, Italy, Ireland or Croatia compete at Euro 2012, but don't think you'll be able to because you don't have access to a television, there is hope.

Thankfully, if you're reading this, help will be quickly on the way.

Live steaming is one of the greatest things ever invented for sports fans and as a football fan wanting to watch Euro 2012, you will have the option to catch all of this Sunday's big action live and online.

Real Betis V Real Madrid - Laliga Ea Sports

While you can find both of these games live on ESPN, you can also tune in online via a live stream on ESPN3.com or WatchESPN.com.

While your watching, make sure to keep an eye on these key players in each matchup:

Spain vs. Italy at 12 p.m. ET

Key Player: Mario Balotelli, Italy

Balotelli is often times known for his antics more so than his talent, but this is the perfect stage for him to step up and prove that he can be one of the best soccer players in the world.

He's got an incredibly precise and powerful strike and he's athletic enough to make plays and give Spain's defense fits. He notched 19 goals in 2011-12, so the question is not whether he can score, it's going to be whether he can be focused enough to lead the attack for this Italy team.

Big matches and moments often times bring out even bigger performances from stars, and Balotelli is a star in my estimation. He'll be the one guy you want to watch in this matchup.

Ireland vs. Croatia at 2:45 p.m. ET

Key Player: Robbie Keane, Ireland

Ireland is a tough, defensive group that is going to worry more about stopping the other team and playing fundamental than being flashy and scoring a ton of goals.

If you take a look back at their recent schedule, you'll see a ton of 1-0 wins, or 1-1 and even 0-0 draws, so that's the type of football that you should expect from the Irish at Euro 2012.

This makes any scoring they can get imperative, and that's why Keane is the key player in this game. He notched three goals and two assists, and 28 shots in nine games for the L.A. Galaxy in the 2012 MLS season.

Obviously he can find ways to get the ball into the net, whether it be by passing or scoring, and on this Ireland team, any help scoring is going to be valuable. Keane is the guy to watch in this matchup.
