WWE News: Backstage Plans on the Winners at This Year's Money in the Bank PPV

Chris HumphreyJun 6, 2012

After the dust settles at No Way Out on June 17, the WWE will turn its attention to the Money in the Bank pay-per-view featuring the set of two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches for both RAW and SmackDown.

Here are the details from F4WOnline (via WrestlingInc.com) on the plans for this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view on which superstars will walk out with one of the two briefcases.

"

WWE will hold Raw and SmackDown brand Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event taking place July 15, 2012 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The planned winners are WWE Superstars who have never held the Money in the Bank briefcase.

For the winners of last year’s event, Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio were both successful in cashing in their briefcases, as the two superstars won the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship at TLC and SummerSlam, respectively.

As for the two winners at this year’s Money in the Bank event, the creative team should finally give Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler a much deserved main-event push in their respective brand’s ladder match.

Besides Rhodes and Ziggler, Wade Barrett would be another excellent choice to win one of the ladder matches and be given a push into the main-event scene after being out of action due to injury since this past February.

With the plan for two new winners to win at this year’s event, which superstars would be your picks to grab the briefcase and win the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches for RAW and SmackDown, respectively?
