Chris Jericho Assaulted by Fan at House Show in Victoria, B.C.

I'm not sure if you guys'll be interested in this, or if I should be posting the video link (never written anything before, so it won't be great), but here we go.

Got back from the show a little while ago, so I don't think there's anything out there about this yet.

There hasn't been any official releases by the Victoria Police Department (I have forwarded them a copy of the attached video to help prosecute the attacker when he is found), but I'm sure this will make the news tonight.

According to other bystanders, this fan had been verbally harassing Jericho prior to the show, which is nothing out of the ordinary I suppose.

But, after the show, Jericho was driving out of the parking lot, a fan ran up to his SUV, starting knocking on the window and giving him the finger while yelling (I did not personally see this part).

Jericho opened the door and had the fan kick it shut. Jericho got out and words were exchanged. Jericho sat down in the car and hit his head on the roof (I think he was pushed). The fan attempted to hit Jericho, but was stopped by security.

I should probably just let you view the video, I'm not good at explaining things.

*** While it looks like Jericho was the one doing the assaulting, I did not get the first part of the altercation on video (showing the fan running up to the SUV).

As soon as a performer leaves the arena, they are no longer a wrestler, they are a normal person. This fan took things way too far.

It's a shame that one fan had to ruin it for everyone, and I hope he is found and charged.
