5 Wrestlers Who Are Losing Steam Due to Lack of TV Time

Gone Baby GoneJun 7, 2018

For decades, the WWE has had a pretty deep talent pool, yet only a handful of their stars make onto their TV shows.

Some of the feature stars, have either faded, are out due to injury or have been suspended for whatever reason.

Either way, these stars are removed from TV relatively quick, some return as fast as they left, while others fall into an abyss (insert TNA joke here), never to be seen again. Right now, several stars fall into this category. Some have been away for a few months, while others over a year.

In the end, these stars need to get back on TV in some facet in order to keep relevant.

Keep in mind, you may not agree with some or any of my choices, and if that's the case, feel free to chime in with your choices in the comments section.

Kharma

The once-promising "monster" Diva has not been seen on TV for over a year.

Yes, she took time off for a legitimate reason.

However, she is now more than ready to return, yet the WWE is seemingly dropping the ball with her and her character.

I am uncertain the length of Kharma's WWE deal, but whatever it is the WWE needs to start utilizing it.

In my eyes, if they don't get back on the Kharma bandwagon, fans can kiss the Divas division goodbye.

Rey Mysterio

Yes, Mysterio is one of the most popular WWE Superstars.

However, with his recent suspension—compounded with the fact that he has been out of action for about a year, Mysterio's stock is plummeting.

Not to mention, he is getting up there in age and is very injury-prone, so who knows how long he will last upon his return.

Overall, at this point in his career, he would better serve the WWE and its fans with one last match and immediate retirement.

Brock Lesnar

3 of 5

Upon his return, Lesnar had an epic feud and match with John Cena.

Then just like that he was written off TV.

Before you comment, please note I do realize it was due to an appearance clause in his contract.

For those of you who don't know, Lesnar is only required to do a set amount of appearances, and the WWE had already used a good chunk heading into Extreme Rules.

However, I don't feel Paul Heyman's presence as his representative is good enough to keep Lesnar relevant.

Ultimately, if the WWE doesn't figure out how to get the most out of Lesnar with his limited schedule, no one will care when he returns.

Zack Ryder

4 of 5

Woo! Woo!... Wait what, I'm on Superstars?

That's right folks, the one-time Raw star, US champ and IWC fave has been reduced to Superstars.

If the WWE doesn't figure out what to do with Ryder soon, he will be remembered as a one-hit wonder.

Evan Bourne

5 of 5

Less than a year ago, Bourne was on top of his game, then he was hit with a Wellness Policy suspension.

If that wasn't bad enough, after returning for less than a month, hit got hit with yet another Wellness suspension.

Just as it seemed Bourne's career couldn't fall any further, he gets hit with an injury just weeks after returning from his combined 90 days away from WWE.

Bourne essentially hasn't been seen since November of 2011 and isn't as popular as Rey Mysterio, so chances are not enough people will care when he returns.
