Manny Pacquiao: Top Questions We'd Ask Pac-Man Prior to Battle with Tim Bradley
Manny Pacquiao, why do you continue to box even though you've stated that God has told you to stop this "harmful" sport, per Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports?
That's just one of the questions I have planned for Pacquiao during the Twitter and Facebook Q&A session the boxing great has planned for Thursday.
We'll see if I get any answers from him.
USA Today reports that Pacquiao will conduct the session, and that those seeking answers should use #AskPacman in their inquiries. In my opinion, Pacquiao is as peculiar as he is great, and that combination could make for some interesting answers—if the right questions are being asked.
Here is a breakdown of the other things I plan to #AskPacman:
Why do you believe you have been accused of using performance enhancing drugs?
I wouldn't dare ask him if he has used them, he's already denied that. But it would be interesting to hear him say why he thinks some people have said such things about him.
If you ever fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., what will the outcome of that fight be?
I obviously don't expect him to predict that he'll lose, but I'm hoping to have him show he at least wants the fight. Maybe he'll even show some anger and frustration towards the situation—possibly even me—and we'll get something real juicy.
What aspects of your fight game have declined the most in the last four years?
Manny hasn't scored a KO victory since 2009, a span of four fights. This is the longest such streak in his career. I believe the decline is apparent, but I wonder if he sees it, and if he'll speak honestly about it.
Here is a highlight of Pacquiao's last knockout performance.
Which is the biggest distraction for you heading into the fight with Timothy Bradley: political aspirations, Floyd Mayweather Jr., camp dissension or religious contradictions?
That's a hefty list of distractions, but they are all valid and potential issues. I would love to find out which one bothers him the most.
That's all I got, what about you? Will you have any questions to #AskPacman? If so leave them in the comments, or feel free to hammer or applaud me on my choice of questions.
