Dave's College Basketball Picks, Feb. 7: Indiana at Michigan State

Indiana controlled the game against Iowa on Wednesday and came out with a home win, just as we predicted. Indiana continued its hot shooting, only this time it was Devan Dumes with the hot hand and 27 points. Win No. 2 will be hard to come by this week, as the Hoosiers go on the road to East Lansing and then play Minnesota on Tuesday.

Clearly Michigan State set out to make a statement Wednesday against Minnesota. Having lost their prior two home games, the Spartans scored quickly and often in building a 26-point halftime lead en route to a 76-47 final score. Though they never gave up their place atop the Big Ten standings, the impressive win makes Michigan State the team to beat again.
