Colts Offseason Preveiw

Quarterbacks: The Colts could look to add a third quarterback as a luxury late in the draft or as an undrafted free agent. Jim Sorgi will not face competition because he knows the offense so well, but the Colts will want to limit Manning's snaps in training camp. Manning's cap hit is over $20 million next year, and the Colts could try to restructure it again.

Running Backs: The Colts will look to re-sign Dominic Rhodes at a reduced price. If they can not, expect that they bring in a veteran who will play for a reduced price. Mike Hart will get more carries in training camp, where he could take snaps from Addai too. The Colts might look at getting a fullback, Darrell Reid did not get the job done there.

Receivers: Marvin Harrison is expected to be cut. Harrison would free up about 7 million in cap space. The Colts will look to get a receiver with a first day pick in the draft. There will be a battle for the third, fourth and fifth receiver spots in training camp. Tom Santi and Jacob Tamme will battle Gijon Robinson for more snaps in training camp also.

Offensive Line: The Colts will lose Saturday if they re-sign Kelvin Hayden and Saturday does not play for a reduced price. Ryan Lilja could be cut, after spending the season on IR. The Colts could move Ugoh to guard and get a tackle with their first round pick. The guard spots are not set in stone either

Defensive Line: Josh Thomas will not be Re-signed. The colts have Curtis Johnson and Marcus Howard waiting in the wings, and they have a smaller price tag. Eric Foster and Keyunta Dawson show flashes, but the Colts, could make a big splash with a vet or a rookie at their spot. Darrell Reid will be resigned. The Colts will try to work Quinn Pitcock out of retirement.

Linebackers: Tyjuan Hagler will not be resigned after he was replaced in the starting line-up by Clint Sesions. The colts could add depth in the middle of the draft here. Freddie Keiaho is a free agent, and the Colts will try to sneak a second round tender, when he should have a first.

Defensive Backs: Kelvin Hayden is a free agent, he will be resigned, but It will hit the colt's wallet. Kiwean Ratliff will stay if he takes a hometown discount. Matt Giordano will only stay if he accepts a discount, and can be easily replaced by Jamie Silva.

Special Teams:Hunter Smith will stay, he will take a discount though. The Colts will spend a lot of time trying to upgrade the kick and punt returners.
