Lauren Tannehill Star Rising with Reported Maxim Photo Shoot

Get your giggities set for giggity because the NFL has a hot new WAG in Lauren Tannehill, and she is apparently set to star in an upcoming issue of Maxim Magazine. 

Deadspin directs us to a report over at LobShots contending that a recent photo shoot was for popular men's magazine Maxim.

Um, sweet. 

By now you have heard about the wife of Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. If you haven't, you will. 

I can't guarantee a whole hell of a lot, but I can certainly guarantee that. The Dolphins will be featured in HBO's Hard Knocks this season, and Ryan Tannehill is the rookie QB that the Miami faithful hopes can become a franchise quarterback. 

As for these photos, they were taken by photographer Roger Snider a couple of weeks ago, and you can see his postings on them here and here. 

None of this report is shocking, but every last drop of it is promising. 

The Dolphins may have taken a huge gamble on the former Texas A&M star who needs a season or two of grooming, but his wife is ready to become a major hit immediately. 

For the young QB, the media attention of a popular HBO series is the last thing he needs to make the transition from college star to legitimate leader on the professional field. 

I would have to say the Dolphins made a horrible decision in choosing this season to feature on Hard Knocks, but I am not about to complain. 

Sure, there will be position battles, Reggie Bush and a myriad of other reasons to watch, but I will count Lauren Tannehill as the first and only reason to tune in. 

Featuring in Maxim is a no-brainer for an amateur model that is about to hit the big time.
