Preview
After Monday's UConn-Louisville game, Marquette (9-0, 20-2) is the only remaining Big East team with a perfect record in conference play.
Their guard-heavy lineup revolves around two key seniors—Jerel McNeal (20.0 PPG, 4.6 RPG, .475 3P%) and Wesley Matthews (19.2 PPG, 5.5 RPG, .390 3P%).
In every Big East game this season, McNeal and Matthews have scored in double digits.
If there can be any criticism of the Golden Eagles at this point, it's their lack of depth. Their top four scorers average 67 of the team's 81 points per game.
South Florida (2-7, 7-14) was largely considered to be the worst team in the Big East at the beginning of the season, but have since proved critics wrong. While they are only sporting two Big East wins right now, they are both over DePaul—who is still winless in conference play.
The Bull's offense is sophomore Dominique Jones, who is averaging 18.3 of the team's 61.3 points per game.
This game is the start of a tough stretch for the Bulls.
They take on seven teams that are ahead of them in the Big East standings before taking on Rutgers for the last game of the season.
