The AFC East Just Got Much Better
The AFC East has improved thus far in Free Agency. Or let me say the margin of who will be the top dog has narrowed.
The Buffalo Bills
The Bills made a great attempt at shoring up their defensive fronts by adding the likes of the big boy from Jacksonville, Marcus Stroud.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stroud should help with his ability to hold up against the run and also has pass rushing prowess. He will also likely cause alot more one-on-one plays for schobel on the right side of the D-line.
Mitchell is an obvious upgrade from one time starter Keith Ellison. Mitchell has more experience in the league and can play inside (like he played in KC) or outside. He's better against the run, hits harder, and is a sure to tackle kind of guy. And it doesn't hurt that he just won a ring.
Spencer Johnson from the Vikings has good NFL experience and can help up front with Stroud. He should also help push McCargo and Williams, as well as playing in passing situations.
The New York Jets
With the signings of Alan Faneca and Damien Woody, the Jets O-line will be a juggernaut! I'm sorry but any defensive coordinator in this league is going to have their hands full with trying to rush against the left side of the Jets O-line.
D'brick Ferguson, Faneca, and Mangold will make for a great line for years to come.
Woody may be a hit or miss, considering they are playing him at tackle. The Jets have also signed big-time pass rusher Calvin Pace from the Cardinals, but he might be a one year wonder.
This just in: Star Fullback Tony Richardson is on board with the Jets.
Oh, and on defense, say hello to big Kris Jenkins.
The Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins signed Ernest Wilford, who I thought was one of the best WR in free agency this year.
They also signed Torbor from the giants who just was on a stout defense that won the Super Bowl.
For security, Josh McCown signed a contract and on the O-line they picked up guard Justin Smiley.
On the D-line, the Dolphins aquired Ferguson from Dallas for two 6th round draft picks and also signed DT Randy Starks from the Titans.
The New England Patriots
With as much as they have lost (especially in the secondary), the Patsies seemed to gain some nice names.
Re-signing Moss and Jabar Gaffney lightens the blow, but Stallworth is gone.
The Pats added often injured but talented ex-Bill Jason Webster, S Tank Williams, and vet CB Lewis Sanders. That's just to lighten the huge blow to the Pats secondary. Special Teams star Sam Aiken wasnt a bad addition either.
REMEMBER all these teams have a top 12 pick in this year's draft. Miami-1st, Jets-4th, Pats 7th (from 49ers) and Bills at 11. So every team should add an impact player.
The gap between the best and worst in the AFC has gotten smaller, and this coming season should be very intresting.
