Big East Set to Look Pretty in Week 13 Rankings

With both Duke and Wake Forest falling, to Clemson and Miami respectively, in what turned out to be another "Wacky Wednesday," the two ACC teams should take a hit come next week's rankings.

Duke was absolutely hammered by Clemson, losing by 27 points, and even though Clemson is a top 10 team, the fact that they got beat by that much will no doubt drop them to the lower portion of the top 10. They will play Miami on Saturday in what will be another shot for the Hurricanes to beat a top 10 team.

Wake Forest, on the other hand, lost to the unranked Hurricanes by 27 points as well, 79-52. This is their second loss in a row to an unranked team and will move them convincingly out of the top 10. On Sunday they will play a good Boston College team, which has won five in a row.

The Big East, on the other hand, is looking to have four teams in the top six.
